The obvious solution is to have the students start a lude chant anytime any piped in music is played ever...

They need something quick, easy to rhyme, loud, sung in unison and catchy, so that the admins will be forced to stop all piped in music.

"Saban is a kid toucher, and a cousin f*cker" or something like that...

The best way to get a bunch of 18-22 year olds to stay is not by playing less current music and more 70’s and 80’s band music. Coming from a former band member

This dumbass has a masters degree, so slow your roll with that garbage. I’m all for tradition, but you also have to accept change or get left in the dust. Go take your blood pressure medicine and relax.

No one said it had to be ‘70s and ‘80s. But it’s a lot better than generic boring rap. Just get a mix of stuff for the piped in music that you play on occasion.

I have said this about a dozen times since last season. I went to BDS last season for the first time and they play a lot of piped in music and the crowd loves it. The difference is that they play things that most everybody can enjoy from several different genres. Their band also played a lot too. The crowd enjoyed it all and a lot of it was repeat stuff because they seemed to have a lot of routines to it.

What I dont remember seeing was a field presentation to some person every break in the game.

Oh, and they waved those pom poms all game long to everything... cheers, songs, applause, etc

music isn't played for the players. It's played for the fans- the paying customers. Players should be focused on their jobs, not listening to music.

You clearly never played sports. Music is a major factor these days in getting a player’s mind right.

Yeah, that's the tricky part. These students don't know what it is like without piped in music. We'd be asking them to chant STTDB to every piped in song and they'd have no reason to do so.

Now, if we brought back the North Endzone Nut, I bet he could make it happen.

i played sports my whole life, and still do at 54.

And music is fine for players, but not during the game. They have other things to focus on. Pre-game, sure.

of course, pre-game is fine.

I'm talking about during the game. The music is for the 100,000 fans, not 100 players on the field.

Stand up and cheer, clap and do LSU chants that were done for years. You know before the entertain me at a college football game crowd showed up. I always thought the football game was the experience and entertainment. Anywho, they play music to drown out the deadass silence the modern football fan puts out.

Entertain me, I'm at a football game and it's not enough.
