Someone posted the SOS a while back and it was right in line with previous years except last year. I wish I knew where they got it. Someone can probably pull it up.

I agree with Lunatik, we have the talent to win a ton of games. We’ll see soon enough.

We’ll have a good indication of where we are after game 3.

However, I'm not making excuses.

My only issue with last year at this point in time is I don't get why people make every excuse under the sun for this guy and refuse to use the standards for how we judge every other coach in every other sport.

For one, it is funny you cite me for attacking...but don't cite the ones attacking me to illicit that response. But then, I've noticed your agenda so I get it.

However, what I don't get is that you say how extremely talented we are, no excuses...then proceed to talk about how weak our OL is.

So you see, if you are correct, I think that is what most posters were saying that while lsu may have talent, there are critical areas where they still lack and those could derail the season. So you say #7 talent, no excuses, but then contradict yourself.

I'm sure you realize we could literally have a team full of dbs and wrs that are all 4 and 5 star...would be highly rated overall...yet we would suck.

No question and we have to hope the offensive staff get it going. I'm certainly not going to say it can't happen. It's just an unknown and I wanna see what it they look like on the field.

Yeah, I get it. My kid use the "but, they started it" all the time in elementary school.

You're a big boy. Two degrees from LSU, right? Successful business? Great kids? But you can't control yourself when someone posts something you disagree with?

What is my agenda?

I don't think I said no excuses anywhere in that thread. I also didn't say anything critical of the coaches, including O. I said we are more talented than everyone we play except for two teams. Do you disagree?

We could, but we don't.

The irony of all of this is I don't like O. What I do is try to be fair. I won't lose sleep if he is fired. But, what I do honestly see is a team that was depleted early on, and it impacted the defense, and they got much better later in the year. That improvement is what gives me optimism. That and the transfers. I'm always devil's advocate in life, in a positive way.

I don't agree with your assessment of the OL. But if I did, I'd say we most definitely didn't have an overall TEAM more talented. I expect a great season. I do think Miami and Auburn are also equal to us in talent...for some reason I don't think we lose to Miami, and get this, don't think we lose to Georgia. I am more concerned about Auburn. Always tough on the road.

I do the same. I think I am overly fair with the team. In fact, I got called an O defender yesterday.

He’s rich, old, and probably so self absorbed that he thinks he’s Tom Jurich at his prime. I doubt he cares.

I'm talking about 4 top 10 teams.

I've never been a huge fan of sos...as exact science. Problem I have is that a team can play a lot of teams in between #15 and #50, and have a good sos. Then let's say a team plays #1, #2, and #3, then a bunch of scrubs ranked higher than 75...that kills the sos. Now, which schedule would likely be easier to go undefeated on, playing 3 teams in the top 5, or not playing a team in the top 15, but playing a lot of competitive teams?

I think The people who do these things figures that out a while ago dawg.

Its not just based on average because teams aren’t ranked after 25.

This is true. Dude could make shite hires at Duke because of coach K and the basketball team.

Comes to LSU and does the same because Les had just won a title and the program was rolling.

He sucks.

I'm not saying those is the case with lsu, but do you not get that a team can have an overall ranking of #7, but have one very bad unit, such as a dl or ol, and as such, will lose games because of that. Do you get that part? You can't just black and white it and say no excuses.

Good lord man give it a rest. You’re all over the rant acting like a child calling people losers and telling them they don’t have lives as you post 353 times and counting in less than 10 days....
