I thought Wade was a badass when he first got here but like the OP said, wade is nothing special it appears.

For four years I’ve been behind him. I’m losing faith. He watched his team play HORRIBLE defense last year. Said a thousand times in the offseason that they needed to get better on that side of the ball...and came out this year JUST AS BAD as last year. His flat out fricking refusal to acknowledge his approach on the defensive end is wrong will be the reason he wastes talented rosters.
He’s becoming Les 2.0. Not bad by any means. But a unflinching stubbornness to fix a fatal flaw the WHOLE frickING BASKETBALL WORLD can see. How can you watch that dog shite repeatedly and continue to think “yep. This approach is the way to go”?

I been pretty frustrated this season with defense, I thought we kinda started going in the right direction then the last two games happened
But I'm just gonna be honest, he's still a pretty good coach overall for the program and I'm willing to ride him out for a while. Auburn rode bruce even when he wasn't even producing good results so I'm not anywhere close to turning my back on Wade

We have lost consecutive conference games to a damn good bama team and a kentucky team on the road with their backs against the wall and a shitload of talent. Ok? We are better than we have shown these last two games by alot and I will not give up on this team bc of 2 losses in a row. Sure, they looked bad, but they are better than they have performed by a long shot bc I've seen how they can play when they're clicking. We will be fine. frick all haters.

Really doesn't matter how good Wade is or isn't. Good or bad, it's temporary. The NCAA will hammer LSU, Wade will be fired, and LSU basketball will disappear for a decade.

Look, we all just want us to get max production from our team. We’re playing poor defense and look poorly prepared.
We’re nowhere near great, but that should be our goal.

Its all relative! Football expectations are high and basketball is not! So wade has lots of room to be average coach, which he is. But good recruiter
