Let me guess, if we’re 12-0 you’re on board, otherwise you’ll still have your doubts

Here’s to hoping that we go out there Saturday and hang 50 on La. Tech.

There’s no reason to hold back this week, which was the excuse by many on here for the inefficiency on offense against Southeastern. I don’t care about the SLU game anymore after what we saw on offense yesterday. What i would like to see against Tech, though, is us have a similar gameplan as yesterday but better execution. We need to run the offense fully, and work out some kinks before we go into the real meat of the schedule.

I don't know what you heard the "tone" of my posts say but the standard has always been to improve upon last season. Pretty sure I've been consistent on that take.

This is complete BS. The tone of your posts have consistently been negative and anti-O all off season. You, MoJeaux and Justice have done nothing but whine like little bitches about the hiring and Troy for months. You had no confidence whatsoever that we'd be anywhere near where we are now.

It is cute though that Lunch came in and took up for u.

How does that make sense to you?

If I expect something I am confident it happens

Touché. You're right. It's a word and not a phrase.

You were confident this team was going to improve?

Well, 10 wins for sure.

Look, we just beat Auburn in Auburn. I don't see 3 losses on this schedule. Just win the games you're supposed to win. Is that asking too much?

No, but whether or not I thought it was going to happen, there's still an expectation in place.

The last guy was fired because 9 wins a year wasn't acceptable anymore. Since that was set as the standard, it remains the standard for Orgeron.

Now that he has a team that should get it done, there are no excuses at all for him not reaching that level. There's not a lack of experience or too much youth. We just went into Auburn and beat Auburn. We have enough.

Exactly, A complete contradiction. You cant say a coach is garbage and incompetent and then in the next sentence say...but I expect them to improve.

The difference is that 10 wins is the expectation of the head coach at LSU, not necessarily what the individual thinks is going to happen. I've said the same thing plenty of times. I expect him to win ten games, but I didn't think it would happen.

I was not won over but I do admit that I never thought O could do this well this year. He has fixed weaknesses and appears to be letting his assistants do their job. I could not ask for more.

Moreover, they appear to be well coached overall right now.

Again, couldn’t ask for more. I smell crow cooking in the kitchen I believe.

Whatever he's doing, it seems to be working. He's not the most polished guy in the world, but I couldn't care less as long as he keeps recruiting well and winning. I am concerned for when Aranda decides to leave and be a head coach, though. But as of right now, we're winning so O is good in my book.

Hard to really argue against any this. O deserves a boat load of credit for how we have played thus far.

Tough Crowd. :)

I'm enjoying the ride the coach and team are giving us.
3-0 is hard to complain about---I think these kids can take us to the promised land.

By using my brain like a rational person.

If you say so. Many here expected a championship out of Les every year. Do you think they were all confident it was going to happen?

Those same posters have been criticizing others almost nonstop for months simply for being supportive of the coaches and team.

Of course you can.

If the guy's job is based on performance, he has a standard of performance to meet, or else he gets fired.

You act like I hired O. I would not have hired him, but since he's here, he has to meet the same level of performance as the guy before him did. That is the expectation of his pay grade. That expectation does not change based on the relative skill of the individual occupying that pay grade.

Honestly, I don't think Ensminger hurts LSU, not as much as I feared.
