That you would take a 6-6 season just to assure he leaves
Not me. Only an idiot would wish that on this football team. I would not sacrifice one win to have miles fired. I am an LSU fan and love football. I don't care who is the coach. It will take care of itself one way or another.

So please, tell me....what exactly are you doing to ensure that "9 wins isn't good enough"?
So if he goes 9-4 again YOU will be happy?????

this question is presented in one way or another at least once a day. to answer the question though , if LSU is winning and competing for the west why would anyone want him gone ? if not , well , you know
yes, a large contingent of fans would still probably want him gone... we had a healthy population of people happy when jimbo left (even tho he produced outstanding SEC QBs)

You can't answer my question with a question. That's just poor manners.

Id rather LSU have a good season than Les getting the boot, think most agree with this.

1) I want LSU to go undefeated this year.
2) If LSU does not finish with a winning conference record AND at least 8 wins this year, I want Les Miles fired.

NEVER.
I want us to beat the sh-t out of every team.
I have the want to say that Miles is really a great coach.

Let me try to break it down if it is too difficult:
Quote 1:
"I want a top 10 season. That's it. I could give two dicks what Les Miles says to reporters. Put up or shut up time."
Quote 2:
"1) I want LSU to go undefeated this year.
2) If LSU does not finish with a winning conference record AND at least 8 wins this year, I want Les Miles fired"
The first post is basically what I want and think is also reasonable with our level of talent. This statement was more about what is being said to reporters. Talk is cheap.
Part 1 of the second quote is what I truly want, but don't think can happen. I hope we all want that. If LSU goes undefeated, this would also mean a top 10 season (see quote 1)
Part 2 of the second quote is the most firm statement I'm making there, and I think most people here would say it's pretty fair.
Why don't you quit acting persnickety? It's unbecoming.
