Yes I know 2009 he was not bad statistically but he was still a bad QB in 09.

OP says JJ will "play like Cam Newton this year", but says he's not saying he will win the Heisman.
Let's leave that beaut for a minute and face facts.
JJ is the worst starting Quarterback in the SEC. This is not opinion. This is statistical fact.
JJ had to be bailed out in the Tennessee & Florida Games. Against McNeese, JJ turned in what is unquestionably one of the worst performances out of a quarterback in the modern history of LSU Football.
There were several games where Jordan finished <50% passing. He threw more INT's than TD's last year.
These are not opinions. They are facts.
How anyone could construe one bowl game performance and a string of Spring Practices where he only went against our 1st string defense in controlled scrimmage situations with very sympathetic offensive coaches and a green jersey on into a thought that he will play like Cam Newton is the height of idiocy.

I think he improves but not to the level so many believe...

I agree Funk. Some posters think JJ goes from the second coming of Rohan Davey to Bert Jones part 2 for no reason other than they got a feeling. WTF is going on with some of our fans??
