I agree with you and I want the Honkey Badger nickname to stick, but I grew in the 70’s & 80’s on Looney Toons and Archie Bunker and Redd Foxx. Back when racial humor could be funny without being pointed or nasty.
Nowadays society is conditioned to be offended at everything.

Not sure I understand why anyone would think it’s racist.
Honkey is a dumb joke from The Jeffersons. Nobody thinks of it as a racial epithet. Nobody cares if you make fun of a white dude that way.
