70 and counting. EBR Parish native. Lived in the feedlot barn on the university farm as a student. Roommates were 2 north LA rednecks and 120 steers. Loved it!

ROTC was mandatory for freshmen. I lucked out and got in the Air Force. Army had to march with a gun. Tradition was for the first home game we had to shave our heads, put on our pajamas and march down the hill into the stadium.

65 and have fell in love with several LSU teams and QBs over the many years, but Burrow is turning out to be the Boss QB of all of em! Glad I’m alive and healthy to be part of the ride this year. So many wonderful things happening to make this the perfect storm of years...CEO, Ensminger, Brady, Jefferson, Chase, Marshall, Hekaire, our O Line big uglies, Stingley, Queen, Shelvin, Stevens, Chaisson...and on and on. Very special year...enjoy it y’all!

I’m 68, became an LSU fan when they beat #1 Arkansas in the Cotton Bowl in 1966.

I am 69 years old. I remember all of players you mentioned. But I will never forget the 1966 Cotton Bowl. Joe Labruza (spelling) ran the ball down Arkansas’s throat. We won 14-7. I believe Arkansas was ranked number 2 in the nation. I don’t think we were ranked at all. They were 9-1 and we were7-3. I think.

Remember when 65+ was waaaayyyy old? Not anymore....
TD is actually good for the brain. Try to remember dates, names & faves & stats. I wish I was still in 20th century at times. I still love reading old LSU chronicles. There were so many glory days. Generations bonded over the love of LSU. We all have stories dear to our hearts. And I remember thinking "good Lord ---- 58,000+- at T.S. ?!?! my hubby & Dad want to be up there when to go to Union? The good, the bad, the ugly & worse. But a true Tiger fan is forever LSU. Fun - love. Lots of both. And didn't have to document everything with a photo!
