I have received 4 in the past few days. The emails are kinda funny to me. They are begging you to forward the email to any person you know who may be remotely interested in going to this game.

I would buy something in the lower deck...not that interested in the upper deck, regardless of who the DC is.

I agree, but that doesn't appear likely to happen before the bowl game...if at all.

They should just be honest...buy some tickets this year and when we get back to a BCS we will forget you next year! I dont remember getting this many emails in previous years. They don't want you to get more upset when they know that you won't get any tickets.

I've got 3, but I will not respond until I get the one that says "New DC hired to save Bowl chances", then I may bite.

I just received one from LSUsports.net as well. I'm saving my money for Seattle in September.

we need to pour every dollar from the athletic budget into making this happen...even if the baseball team has to use bats and balls from last year, let's get out there and hire the best DC to make sure we have a chance at winning the Eat Mor Chikin bowl...

That's because they didn't have any tickets available the past few years. They were accounted for before the season even ended. Obviously, as mentioned before, the bandwagon got a flat, and now those tickets are available for purchase to anyone willing to support this years team.

Two. One last night and one today.

The last one not only asked me to buy tiokets but to forward the e-mail to all my friends.

+1...besides, I'm going to be in Dallas for New Year's. If LSU had simply beaten Ole Miss, I'd be going to their bowl game this year.

i think it's funny how they are begging people to buy tickets this year. and in previous years, when the team did really well, the could care less about you.

hopefully some of that pressure will roll downhill to Les and force him to make the necessary changes to insure that a season like this doesn't happen again anytime soon.

At least a half dozen. What pisses me off is TAF members were supposed to get priority on tickets based on ranking. My place fell 2000 slots when its not possible for that to happen with the way the plan was supposed to work. LSU admitted they changed the plan to to include those who give money in other areas. In other words, the fat cats get the pick of all the bowl tickets first.Let the people who got NCG tickets last year buy them

What makes me mad also is if I put my application in a month ago with the original bowl game ticket request. Now someone who has a higher TAF ranking than me who just asked for tickets yesterday will get better seats that me. Nothing like fair weather fat cat donors
