There will be some. They have protocols in place.

The reason football is back is not because the virus has been vanquished. It is because people have realized that for world class athletes, it really is "just the flu."

Yeah there’s no requirement the school release positives.

And they shouldn’t. It’s not a big deal but it’ll still give the sky screamers something to panic about. Better to just handle it in house

LSU by law must release all info if requested due to being a public university. Just saying if one school already shut down others will follow

They don’t have to release student’s medical records. That’s privileged. A positive covid diagnosis falls into that category

Anyone with a functioning brain should know by now we have COMPLETELY overreacted to this crap, as I have said since the beginning (where is my cookie). These shutdowns are political. As I've said before, why don't we have a STRICT 5 mph speed limit, and eliminate 99.999999% of the auto deaths in the country??? Life isn't worth living that way. This has been our reaction to a damned virus.

Number of positive test not protected by HIPAA so long as no identifying info is provided.

Any positive tested players should be required to report to the compliance department that handles our other testing issues. Only seems fair. Maybe it can lead to a few of them From that department being quarantined for a few years. Just a thought.

Tigahlovah you are exactly correct!!!

WE ARE DEFINITELY PLAYING FOOTBALL IN THE FALL.

This virus is no more than a bad flu and the data shows that 99.8% of everyone who gets it will recover with no problem. Do not believe the propaganda.

More people will die if we do not open our country back up now. That includes colleges and football games. No one talks about the deaths that are happening every day that we stay locked down. More suicides, more over doses, more heart attacks and cancer deaths because people did not go to a doctor or a hospital for treatment for fear of catching the virus, more domestic violence, more crime, more depression, etc. No one is talking about this. In their unreasonable fear of this bad flu all they can think about is staying shutdown lest someone test positive. It is pathetic. The fear of this virus has become a greater problem than the virus itself.

You bet we will play football this fall! This is only June. We have a long time from June to September. Watch and see all you fearful hearts. LSU WILL BE IN TIGER STADIUM RIGHT ON SCHEDULE IN THE FALL. GEAUX TIGERS!
