Wrong!

Negative and all teams had issues surrounding this year.

SE has had issues with scheme and play calling every year, except 2019. Why is that? In 2018, he had a terrible scheme, couldn’t make in game adjustments and play calling was all over the map.

Bo has had a historically bad Defense and hadn’t shown any improvement at all throughout the year.

FYI, if you took Nebraska’s top 25 worst defensive performances, BO owns 13 of them. Let that sink in when you mention “everything surrounding this year”.

They gone

there is no excuse for this. Not Covid, not losing players to draft...nothing.

First, I’m not against getting rid of Pelini.

With that said, if you landed a new job and you were trained for about 3-4 weeks through zoom and very minimal hands on training, how do you think you’d perform at your job?

I don't take pleasure in people losing jobs and the older I get the less important stuff like this becomes. But I will say if you want to slip into mediocrity, standing pat after the season we just had is one way to get there.

If I was hired to do a job that I had already been doing for nearly 20 years and was doing so using MY own system? I wouldn't be worse than 95% of the others in my position (121 out of 127).

Every single team in the country has had to deal with Covid, losing players, etc.... A drop off is expected considering the amount of players LSU lost, however, 121 out of 127 in the country? At a program like LSU? With the recruiting classes LSU brings in? It's unacceptable no matter how you stretch it.

Buyout is already being negotiated, Pelini mutually wants out.

This makes the most sense to me. At the first of the year, I thought the buyout was gonna be an impossible hurdle to overcome. That was assuming Pelini wouldn’t give up anything he didn’t have to. At this point, though, I can’t imagine Baton Rouge is a place he and his family want to be for another year. I think they’ll settle and both sides will go their separate ways.

With the buyout that Bo would get I’m sure that most people would look at it as a Christmas bonus. It’s not like his kids will go without presents this year!

Complacent LSU fans gonna complacent.

If both fail and O goes 8-5 or 9-4 how much longer are giving him to right the ship? Another year to hire coordinators

good lord so having the second worst D in the league is acceptable? you are a fricking retard if you think that is true
Half of the defensive disaster is Orgeron's fault, because he wanted a full 4-3 immediately, instead of of slowly transitioning to it when more 4-3 DL's and LB's were recruited and available.

That's what the big disagreement with him and Pelini recently was about.

Coach O will take his time in hiring the right people (we hope).
Canada wasn't the right person. Pelini wasn't the right person. Linehan wasn't the right person.

What makes you think he'll all of a sudden hire the right person?

Joseph isn't an SEC level WR Coach. (Not even close)
Compare WR execution in 2020 against WR execution with Brady in 2019. (Not even close)

BBQ Buddy Cregg is a weak recruiter; yearly trying to make something out of nothing. Why is he still here? (Never be dominant with consistently weak OL talent)

Within a couple of weeks. He has to get rid of BP and have enough time to hire another one to show the defensive recruits in February that things are going to change on that side of the ball.

You talking about posters of coaches?

The majority of our coaches have at least one national championship.
In spite of all the cursing, finger pointing, and criticizing, we beat one of our main rivals and recruited a top 3-4 class of recruits. Its not finished, but we have already filled almost every need.
The coaches that are popular have won none, and were out recruited by the present staff.

Your thought process isn't sound.

E performed this year, Bo didn't.

Choice is easy.

Coach E being fired is one of the dumbest things I have read on this site in 10 years! Myles was throwing for 400 plus yards a game before he was hurt and a true freshman just became the 1st LSU qb to throw 3 td’s in the swamp... every person that had a chance of being drafted opted out but Marshall then he did. Another great idea to fire the reigning o-line coach of year. Bo should have had the defense more prepared no doubt. I won’t be upset to give him 1 more year he didn’t forget how to coach. Buyout is too big he will get another shot with short leash. It was obvious that all of the studs coming back mentally left with the other 20 that are in the nfl and champions. We just need a hard reset and in 2 years we will be competing for championships. We are a couple oline tackles, elite corners , and sign davis, and get Gilbert back and we will be set up for the future. Nuss & Howard are the real deal even if Max doesn’t pan out. We can’t completely crap the bed next year because we need 1 more elite class and we will be right back in the thick of it..
