You people are insufferable. Stop paying attention to the stars from recruiting. He’s not the “best running back” are on our team. He struggles to catch the ball. He had two drops again yesterday. I’m not going to talk scheme with you.

But he has a problem knowing assignments and catching the ball. TY Davis-Price is a good back. But running backs are not the issue with this team. Go back to sleep.

Are we so traumatized from the previous coaching staff that we've taken the power-I completely out of the playbook? TDP following Carter thru a hole created by a jumbo o-line? Brennan knows how to go under center, right? Give TDP a running head start

Agree 100%. Get under center and play some power football. The LBs were already committing to the run so gain another blocker with the FB.

Why is any of the blame going towards anything but the defense?

Because when you run for a total of 1 yard in the first half, you don’t execute a single 3rd down conversion all game, and you can’t score from the one yard line in 4 chances - against Missouri, you have problems on offense.

The complete failure of the defense should not make you ignore the deficiencies on offense.

If he has problems catching the ball, then the coaches should find other ways to get the ball in hands. It’ not rocket science. It’s clear he’s pretty good once the ball is in his hands.

They have no idea how to utilize the weapons we have. They just run plays because they worked last year.

I agree about getting Emery the ball but all of the backs will struggle as long as the offensive line continues to get manhandled.

D sucked, but offense had 4 chances from the fricking 1yd line to win.

Exactly, and against a team we out-recruit every year. The offense does some good things but has problems in short yardage situations. The 0-10 in 3rd down coversions and that goal line situation points that out.

0/10 on 3rd down

We converted a fourth down, and Palmer dropped a third down conversion. 0 for 10 was what happened, but the play calling was not why.

I don’t even want to discuss any offensive problems right now. Are there problems to iron out? Yes.

But until the defensive problems get fixed or addressed I’m not going to put one ounce of blame on the offense.

That defense is straight up pathetic right now. Pretty sure another Missouri receiver is running wide open again.

I didn’t read the thread. Just wanted to make sure it was mentioned about his 2 drops

He later attempted to one hand a pass he could have caught, aside from the early drop.

We targeted Tory Carter more than Emery after a 103 yard game last week.

Cool story if true, but Carter had two targets and Emory 6. I still don’t get the long throw to Carter though.
