Per ESPN article:
"Here's the list of players who've completed 70% of their throws with three touchdowns and 300 total yards against Florida in the past decade: Burrow, Joe. That's it. That's the list."

More than any other stat, this one is by far the most impressive.

Of course a lot of that credit should go to LSU's OL for keeping the pressure off ALL NIGHT LONG!

He didn't throw for 300 last night, but that's splitting hairs. Joe is having a magical season.

"total yards"

He had 43 (I think) on the ground.

I think the OP quoted ESPN as saying "...throw for 300 yards and 3 touchdowns".

He also didn't complete 70%. He completed 87%.

Settle down, spaz.

I could see him running that Patriots offense in the future.

Brees and Brady are solid, but Burrow can run. Don't know to what degree the NFL discourages QBs from taking off, but some of the tough ones do. Burrow is tough, and will likely be the best QB ever to play as a Tiger. Hills to climb before that is established. The Opposition will send the Calvary after Joe from here on in. Saban is already thinking.

Why the hate my brother? I come in peace. I'm sure you'll join with me in celebrating what was a great night by Joe Burrow:

21 of 24 (outstanding)
293 passing yards (terrific against a tough D)
43 rushing yards
3 touchdowns
0 interceptions

Are you on board for celebrating these stats?

So a lot has been said about stats and how talented Joe is which are all good and accurate points....let's talk about leadership Joe is starting to become the type of leader that can pick the team up and carry it to a title.....that's the leader we haven't had on offense since the last national title.....He has truly developed into a helluva team leader

The stats are amazing. You called out "not 300 yards" to sound like the smart guy in the room.

I don’t care if I’m blinded by my purple and gold glasses. I think he has a chance to be the first QB taken in the draft. Even if he is not, I think he has the better career out of all QB’s in that draft.
It’s his intangibles that I think sets him apart from the others.

In post-game, he said he’d told the team (paraphrasing) “let’s not let good enough keep us from reaching the excellence we’re capable of.”
That’s the kind of leadership we’ll need going into Tuscaloosa.
