I really would like to make a trip to Omaha this year

I was thinking about this last night. Yes, I'm always wearing my P&G glasses, but I honestly think Jay Johnson is a legend in the making. Every interview I've seen with him and article I've read leads me to believe that. He just seems to have the right temperament for a baseball coach - especially one at a place like LSU.

Combine that with our roster and outlook, and the sky is the limit. There are several on here who are more tuned into baseball, but I'd guess the pitching is the only question mark. I have no doubt this team is going to hit.

Lineup will be good enough to make Omaha along with defense
Pitching is the question and I think the arms are good enough to get to Omaha, it's a matter of how all the roles shake out on the staff. Can Fontenot be a starter or does he end up back in bullpen. Is Reyzelman a reliever or can he contend for starting role. You put those pieces of the puzzle together and pitching will determine how far they go because more than likely they will run into an ace pitcher in regionals or Omaha that slows the offense enough to knock them out

Top 10. I expect a lot of 7-6 ballgames. Once we get a couple of dominate starters we will be back in Omaha regularly.
