Hey guys, I think Nevis is going to be one of the steals of the draft but everyone here saw him play more than I did. NFL scouts make way too big a deal about size. Nevis can play and thats what matters. LINK

Situational pass rusher unless he goes to a team like Indy that loves those smaller type of DL.

Whoever gets him in the late rounds is getting a deal (provided he works hard). That's going to be all the difference in his case.

I don't think you'll see his face on a box of Wheaties, but he was a damn strong football man.

Drake is of an odd size; too big to be a full time DE, too small to be a full time DT. He can play and he's strong as hell, but he either needs to get smaller and play DE or get bigger and play DT.

He won't slip past the 2nd more than likely. No way past the 3rd.

All of a sudden, I don't feel like I want my Wheaties anymore....

This is it - combined with the Indy comment.

I think he would almost fit in better as a 3-4 DE, but I could see him being a LeRoy Glover type of player. Not all world, but a quick pass rushing DT if he could play with a Norman Hand big DT.

I expect him to have a career similar to that of Kyle Williams.

Dorsey:

Williams:
Height: 6-1 Weight: 306

Okay he's not much smaller than Dorsey, but 12 pounds lighter than Williams. He really is kind of small for DT. But I looked up his size months ago and could have sworn he was lighter than that.. guess I just don't remember correctly.

Depends on who drafts him, really. I think if he's drafted by a good organization who puts him in a square hole, he'll be a really good pick. If he goes to a bad organization that tries to pound him into a round hole, he'll be out of the league in 3 years.

so much of good drafting is actually good coaching and roster management. Ask guys to do what they do well.

I think Nevis will be the best DT to come out of LSU in a long time. Unless he goes to a 3-4 team. . .

He is a solid option at 4-3 DT.
