The Raider scout that was there said it was a hand-timed 4.16.

Either way it’s bullshite.

it must be because nobody is faster than “fill in the blank player today not even a world class track athlete.”
He hand timed it.

JD's stride is and running style is closer to a 400 runner.

200 IMO more like Carl Lewis because he is pretty strong and could learn the curve. Same stride style.

Bo Jackson runs a 4.13 @ 200+ pounds in 1986 with no proof, .1 second faster than any electronically timed 40-yard dash at the combine in the last 24 years?

You dying on this hill is very on brand.

While I think it's probably not true, I wouldn't completely rule it out.
Did you ever watch Bo run? He wasn't just big and fast, he was INSANELY explosive. That track start that makes such a big difference in 40 times, most of that is explosion at the start.
Part of it is top-end speed, but I don't know how much that plays into a 40. A good bit of it is how soon you get to that speed, and Bo got there as fast as any big man I've ever seen. A lot of guys take a few strides to get there; that will probably catch Jayden (because I think his playing speed is elite).

Daniels was clocked at 21.8 mph in his 85 yd TD. That would be the 3rd fastest time in the NFL so far this season. Behind only Tyreek Hill (22.01) and Devon Achane (21.93).

That's scary fast.

It isn't about straight line speed with JD. His ability to maintain speed while making subtle movements to get the defender off kilter is his strength

I said he looks like he has world class speed, and was wondering what his actual track speeds are.

Then you said some of you should watch other sports. All I did was pose the question.

His point was correct, that your question lacked foundation. He does NOT look like he has world class speed. World class speed would have walked away from #14 on that 85 yard run. Instead, it looked like #14 was slightly faster and Jayden resorted to weaving to lose him.

He has outstanding speed for a QB, decent speed for a DB, and poor speed for a world class sprinter.

Not to mention...JD looked like he had another gear when he burned all of UF's secondary. I bet he wasn't at full speed.

Oh yeah, sure. An SEC game in the balance, not to mention his Heisman hopes, a defender three feet behind hi and gaining slightly, and he decides to loaf.
