Hopefully later than sooner, but history has not been our friend.

I have a feeling USL bounces them from the regional. Hope I'm wrong.

OKC - I think they actually get their heads out of their asses and make a run.

The rant will melt and it won't be pretty if Torina can't get out of own regional against ULL

Super Regional will be tough at Washington

Both teams split the series earlier this year. The cajuns have def had better teams in the past but depends which LSU team shows up

The team vs Georgia gets to Supers, the team vs Ole Miss in the SECT is sent home early.

truthfully its hard to have much confidence the bats roll for two weekends in a row to get to OKC when they haven't all year but stranger things have happened. Berzon and Kilponen are definitely LSU's best pitching duos since Hoover/Walljasper, granted not as strong but pretty good. Comes down to the bats IMO (and the D obviously not shitting the bed)

I would definitely agree with that. The problem is they haven’t both been on at the same time very often this season. They’ll need both to be in top form to make a run. Pleasants is starting to heat up a little too. It would be amazing if she could come even close to 100%.

LSU looks to have a favorable bracket. I don't see anyone in Baton Rouge beating them. The supers may be a little different-- if it's Washington in Seattle that'll be a sticky wicket. If it's some other team LSU hosts the super

Ya know, everybody gets eliminated. Except for one team.

Digging into the stats for Washington a little, I like the matchup for LSU. The Huskies had a team ERA of 3.81 in PAC-12 play, so not particularly overpowering. Their offense is better than LSU’s due to HRs, but 114 runs in 24 league games isn’t a scary output either. It’s somewhat surprising that their 114-96 runs advantage translated to a 16-8 conference record. They were 7-5 against ranked conference opponents (plus a tourney loss to Utah) with a series loss to unranked ASU. Non-conference, they beat Duke but lost to Oklahoma, Kentucky and McNeese St. They are a good team, but they appear beatable.

You might want to worry about the team with a higher rpi than Washington in your regional that has already beaten you in Baton Rouge this season lol.
