His seat is so cold he's gonna take the whole program down with him, doing it 'his way'.

Subzero. Somebody needs to take that gif of Alleva with a big swinging dick and geld it, because Joe is now a gelding and Miles rules the barnyard. No amount of losses will get him fired next year. Ole Joe prolly working on big raise and contract extension with full buyout protection right now.

How hot is Les Miles's seat

My wife says it's pretty hot for a 62 year old, but IMO he needs to do more lunges and squats.

I think there are some people who supported him that won't like to look bad if that turns out to be a bad decision. Support at the "political" level evaporates pretty quickly if it is met with results they don't like.

There is most surely a "don't frick this up" sentiment.

his seat is as hot as ever. If anything he probably lost some support behind the scenes. His buyout will be less and the situation hasn't changed a bit. Us giving him another year will help with the media next time.

Obviously not too hot, he stated last night that the offense looked fine and there would not be no change.

Less than 10 wins and he's gone.

Speaking of being gone, did he misidentify one of his children last night post-game?

Why would he leave on his own though? Seems like he made it pretty clear that he loves what he does and isn't ready to go anytime soon. It's obvious that most of the fanbase will stick behind him even if he loses 5-6 games because of his record at LSU. My only question is this: What do you think the fanbase would think of Les if he wasn't such a great guy? If he had the same record and trend as he has now, but just a nick Saban attitude. Do you think people would still back him because of his record?

Our fans are so fricking stupid sometimes it takes my breath away. Had Jimbo taken the offer, he would already be gone. Les was plan B and Plan A obviously fell through. He didn't suddenly become untouchable because a few people brought posters to the game.

Boosters were fully prepared to eat $15 million to be rid of him. His seat is hotter than ever.

I think his seat warm going into next year.

Les is stubborn, but I completely disagree with those saying he is in don't give a shite mode. He seems to love what he does and cares for his players. He may be hard headed, but I think he's passionate in his profession.

He's not on any seat anymore. I think he rides off into the sunset after next year. I think they'll look for a HCIW type of assistant this year.

What makes you think that Jimbo actually got an offer from LSU before Alexander quashed the whole deal?

Me too.

We will see how hot the seat is. The team will improve in 2016, but, there may still be three losses. If LSU goes 10-3 with a bowl win but Bama wins the West, Coach Miles won't be fired, IMHO.

But we shall see!

In any event he will probably retire in the next few years anyway.
