Paul's planned went to shite quick depending on a Freshman that had an issue with his arm last week.

Nope. frick this hindsight bullshite. 99% of this fricking rant wanted Walker to be our #2 and questioned whether Poche should ever start another game. Y'all got exactly what the frick y'all asked for but because the arm soreness was mentioned days before you can blame the coach.

They don't not when the coach has 4 to 6 days to fix the issue. Now I see how you can all be dumbfounded when the national media laughs at us.

Coach has to step in and make the right decision.

I know it's hindsight, but you didn't have to throw Poche on Saturday. Even if that was the only option, you didn't have to throw Walker tonight.

Yea we didn't have to throw Poche your right. We could have started him yesterday afternoon in the losers bracket game. We don't win Sunday without his innings.

The coach shouldn't leave it up to a 19 year old

So how was Paul supposed to know he didn't feel fine?

LSU Trainer: "How's the arm feeling today?"

Walker: "It feels great, Doc. No pain."

Mainieri: "How does your arm feel today, Eric? Be honest."

Walker: "100%, Coach. No pain. I'm good to go."

Mainieri: "Okay, that settles it. I'm not going to let you pitch today."

He didn't. This isn't little league. That was a doctors decision.

Lol that's a perfect illustration of how our fanbase and possibly our coach thinks. A normal right thinking coach would do it this way.

Tuesday- Walker hurt during scrimmage

Wednesday morning - coach " the kid has a sore arm and I have 2 aces I can start instead of risking it. Smart play is to start one of my aces. Sorry Eric I'm not going to risk your health and our chances to win this thing on a maybe."

The bullpen sure didnt help, and lack of offense. You have to hit to score.

What's the story? Arm flared up again that quickly? Seems really strange to me.

Maybe someone should ask the weight lifting coach.

Madking, if LSU would have thrown Poche and Gilbert yesterday and lost who would you start Wednesday?

It really wouldn't have mattered if Nolan Ryan was pitching last night. We couldn't hit their pitchers. A bunch of guys bitching to just bitch. Maybe you guys should ask chicken to start a needle threading forum.
