How does Walker go from 100% go to not making it out of the 3rd?

What's the story? Arm flared up again that quickly? Seems really strange to me.

I have to guess that he wasn't in nearly as good a shape as they let on...

Paul's planned went to shite quick depending on a Freshman that had an issue with his arm last week.

Manieri lied
If Paul had lied, you wouldn't have seen Poche in Gm1.

seems to me that you have never played baseball before arm problems can happen on any pitch at any time

That's not what happened here. There were reports that Walker had soreness last week during his bullpen session.

It wasn't a report, it came straight from Mainieri's mouth, and he also said that day that if Walker felt fine throwing a bullpen on Friday, then he'd start. He felt fine, so they thought it was an anomaly. We found out today his arm his fatigued, shite happens, not Mainieri's fault and it's hilarious that people are trying to pin this on him just because they don't like him.

It was all a big scheme. Mainieri wanted to start a pitcher who wasn't 100% against the best team in the country. He sure showed us

Coach has to step in and make the right decision.
I know it's hindsight, but you didn't have to throw Poche on Saturday. Even if that was the only option, you didn't have to throw Walker tonight.

Which is not all that uncommon in baseball. Big difference between soreness and pain

Is it only a wrong decision because of what happened?
Literally everybody on here wanted Walker over Poche after the regionals and supers.

The coach shouldn't leave it up to a 19 year old. Of course he felt fine, wtf was Walker going to say? Don't play me?
This is absolutely on Paul.

So how was Paul supposed to know he didn't feel fine?

Actually, that's exactly what he did today.

What was the score of the game when Walker left?
And how did this make a difference since the kid was hurt?

Soreness from a true freshman that has thrown a ton of pitches to this point is concerning.
