was ross even eligible this year?
and if you are comparing where they got picked pre college, because that would also be wrong because ross had a great summer and improved greatly.
He wasn't eligible, but Ross's bat speed will really cause him to drop in the draft.
if you have to nitpick for LSU to lose the position battle 5-4 instead of 6-3 against SB, it still proves my point. And the talent gap on teh positions they did win is THIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSSSSSSSS big.

So 1 year > 3 years? All I was saying is that they are similar players but Ross will be around for another year or two and continue to improve.
my bad. you are right. Rivers > Mettenberger

LSU has more talent on pitching, .
Head to head, thus far, I'd say no.

They are SIMILAR in production. What is so hard to understand about that. You're retarded.

Meh I don't care that much

also WTF on this Rhymes may be struggling but he for sure is the BEST hitter in the country. no way goldstien is a better hitter then rhym
There is more to baseball than just batting average. When you take fielding, speed, and power into the equation, I'd much rather Goldstein than Rhymes. Just IMO.

so you're saying you'd prefer the guy who isn't as good because he has more eligibility? And I'm the retard?

This tread should be, how does stony brook have more talent at the plate than the rest of the country

How is he better than Ross? Ross is a better hitter while Cantwell is better defensively. They are pretty even when it comes to talent and production. Therefore why would you not want the younger player, dipshit.

NO.
We are just fricking awful at the plate. This LSU team is a Kevin Gausman away from not even hosting a regional.

Ross may only be SLIGHTLY better at the plate. However, Cantwell runs better, has a better arm, and is better at blocking pitches and the plate. Easily the advantage is Cantwell.

Why am I wrong? Care to provide any evidence?

but ross is younger so we'd rather him.

Plus, did you see how good of leadership skills he showed? When the fans were going apeshit and booing, he just kind of visits the mound and starts making his pitcher smile and laugh at us. It was then, that I knew we were fricked. They were so loose.

Fine, advantage Cantwell, but no way is the gap big enough to want 1 year of Cantwell over 3 of Ross. Ross is only getting better, just look at the improvement from last year.

you're wrong because you take the better fricking player no matter how long his eligibility is. damn.
