How does Stingley rank among LSU DBs now that he probably won’t take another snap at LSU?

Since Stingley will likely “opt out” with this injury as an excuse and never play for LSU again, how does he rank in his career with other LSU DBs?
I’d rank him below Mathieu, Peterson, Claiborne, Webster as a corner for sure. There may be several more ahead of him.

This is a dumb thread but it is curious how DB’s always seem to get injured/re injure something the year before the draft.

He's top 3.
I'm not gonna get butthurt like 99% of our fans if he opts out, he's been struggling with injuries lately and if he wants to secure himself as a top 5 pick, it would be the smartest thing for him to opt out.

Stop! Coach didn’t say he was doubtful, he said he was questionable. You obviously don’t know the difference. Which usually means game time decision.
And Stingley will certainly want to play for LSU, and not opt out, if LSU continues to win.

Unranked

He’s definitely top four. I put Mathieu and Peterson above him (and above every corner who has ever played the game, except Deion Sanders). Tre White is my 3/4, essentially

If he doesn’t take another snap, he doesn’t sniff PP7 jockstrap

Top 10 corner of all time at LSU
Not on PP7 or Tyrann level but a freak

He needed a strong year for a top 5 pick

Y’all are some serious vagina’s. The kid is 19 years old and y’all are doggin on him saying he’s “soft” this and that. How many 17 year olds do you know come early from high school and get All- American at the corner position. As you drink your beer on the couch hating lmao

The whole 7 and 18 thing is becoming a joke anyway...just like the nebraska black shirts. Just get out there and play ball

All I will say is he didn’t meet the hype. He is a great CB and probably one of the best cover guys we’ve ever had but injuries have limited him too much to rank him in top 10

Somewhere below Morris Claiborne but above Demetrius Hookfin .
But in Hookfin's case, he at least gave 100%.

Stingley isn’t even the best corner on the team. Eli Ricks has outperformed him.

Have you heard this anywhere else besides here?

No doubt, but sorry, I spend thousands of dollars to attend games and see LSU play every year, so forgive me if I’m a bit unenthusiastic about LSU’s top players opting out every year. I pay to see LSU football at full strength, not interested in the JV roster.
2019 was a lot of fun, but that may have been the last time we saw college football at its best.
