Im assuming they are not available to the general public. Do you have to know someone on staff?

Be important; don't be unimportant

How about give a logical answer

It's really the truth just leaves out the "how to" aspect.
Gridiron Club, TAF tiers, other programs that benefit or assist the AD.
Basically if you assist the AD in any way outside of their direct control there are incentives that can include one sideline pass a year and so on depending on your level of contribution. I'd call the AD or TAF and inquire.
Outside of that if you know someone who does this they could vouch for you and give you their benefit. At the end of the day it's just being valuable to the program and they will keep you happy.

His answer was logical. It just wasn't helpful.

Have you tried asking for them?

I got field passes last year for a game because I know a coach's family member. I was shocked at how many people are on the field pregame. I imagine it can't be terribly hard to acquire one but you will probably have to do some digging or networking.

My cousin said he walked down and gave some black guy guarding the gate $100 and he and his family got on the field.
If that doesn't work, do what I did last year.
I told them "Derek sent me." Let me right in without a problem.

A good friend in the L club has gotten me passes before.
Or you can find a group to mill in with as they're about to go out on the field.

Know a "friend of the program" or like they say money talks every one has a price.

Media pass. Could be your easiest way.

Here's one sure fire way to do it:
Contact TAF, and tell them you want a sideline pass, and money is no object. They'll then ask you: 'What game?'

That won't work any more. They give you a "pass". Mostly now it's a pass that you go with the person who's letting you in. They walk you in at the gate. There are a certain amount of passes. It's far more than you thought. I've been about 4 times, and there are a lot of people on the field. Best time was senior night. Most of the people were herded out but my family and I stayed for the whole pregame. Getting to stay on the field the whole game is tough. Good luck in your quest.

know a guy
Every time I've gone on the sideline pregame it was because I knew a guy who draws water with the football office.

You've got the suck the right dicks. The ones you are currently sucking are not the right ones.

Ask Shaq, he is a frequent sideline visitor.

I've got enough TAF priority points to where i dont think it would be a problem to pick up the phone and easily get a field pass-- but i just dont see the appeal for anyone who's over , like, 8 yrs old... Especially with the fact that, as I'm learning on this thread-- there are literally hundreds of people on the field with passes during the pregame... maybe I'm missing something.
