How does Burrow’s arm strength compare to other Pro prospects?

I told friends last year that I think he will be a potential first round pick with an offseason to get ready for this year. My only concern was arm strength. I only questioned it because I wasn’t sure how it compared to others.
Obviously he has elite accuracy now and plenty of arm strength for the college game. He is elite at anticipation and accuracy but I haven’t seen him really show of the arm strength.
But I’m of the opinion right now that he does have a strong enough arm but just hasn’t really needed it yet with mostly short and intermediate throws.
Tua is player who hasn’t wowed me with arm strength but he is still a top QB prospect and understandably so. Herbert of Oregon does have a cannon but he seems to be raw and more of a project.
At this point, I don’t see what Tua does better than Joe to be the better prospect right now.
Am I missing something? Is Burrows arm strength the concern?

There are as many great NFL quarterbacks with just adequate arm strength as there are who had/have exceptional arm strength.

He reminds me of Peyton Manning when he throws. Same release, similar footwork, similar velocity. I don’t think his arm strength is an issue at all

His arm is plenty good enough. Accuracy was the concern from what I’ve read. Toughness alone makes him worth a shot imo

Yeah I understand that. What I’m basically asking is what is the biggest issues about Burrow from a pro scouts point of view? I’m talking physical issues.
ETA: Lester and Rosenblatt answered my question. Thanks.

I'd say average pro level power.

Joe throws with "touch". Haskins throws "fast balls" on every pitch.
At Ohio St Spring games, they have a long throw contest at half-time. Joe threw longer than Haskins (and Barrett) at these contests every time.
Cardale Jones outthrew everybody (and probably everyone in the NFL also). However, Jones rarely guns it, and so he is considered to have a "very catchable" ball (by WRs) - as does Burrow.

That underthrow to Chase was rough

Hey Buckeye, good to hear from you.
What are seeing so far from the receiver group in terms of the impact of the jugs machines?
They look good imo.

Really only criticism I’ve seen is underthrows on deep passes. Receivers are reacting and catching it, but if he hits some of those deep passes in stride, they are TD’s. He seems to hit Jefferson better in stride than Marshall or Chase, maybe it’s their speed...

quote:Yep, I agree with all this. I don't know if he will be a successful pro or not, but he seems to have the tools typically seen in successful pro QBs. This year will show if he can put it all together consistently against tough competition. If he can, I don't see how he isn't viewed as one of the top QB prospects in next year's draft.
It’s been proven that below average arm strength can be made up for with extreme accuracy, timing, and command of offense. Joe has those extras in college but remains to be seen if he will have them in pros where everything moves faster and windows are smaller.

As long as Burrow has adequate arm strength, I think he keeps climbing the boards.
I wouldn’t want to draft a QB coming in with a below average arm. Brees came into the league with at least an average to above average arm. He gets by now because of years of hard work perfecting his accuracy and having his offense tailored to what he can do now or can’t do.
Chad Pennington was accurate but just not effective because of his arm strength. I think injuries may have been his issue.

Chase credited the 10,000 Summer Jugs reps in 2 different interviews.

The one he couldn’t step into cause a defender was diving at his legs??
This is how false narratives get started. Go watch the throw again
