I dont think that's true, I think the fans haven't been willing to use the full extent of our leverage because it would require sacrificing our entertainment. If those dollars weren't rolling in as quickly maybe our opinions would be taken into consideration.

Of course if you really want to make an impression, have the coaches of the teams tank a few seasons. That would drive away the fans. That sounds like a perfect Rantard solution.

Anyway money from sources such as the SEC network would likely keep LSU going for decades.

We talk a lot of shite on here, but the fact is, he has managed to keep our atheletic programs on very successful footing. Winning eclipses a lot of other shite....

He brings in the dollars. So what if ticket prices are through the roof.

becuase the athletic program is making a ton of money. Don’t be naive, it’s all about money. Winning is incidental.

Joe Alleva is responsible for LSU athletics bringing in money in the same fricking way Roger Goodell is responsible for bringing in money for the NFL

The dollars would continue to flow as long as we’re in the SEC. fricking Joe Dean was turning profits in the 90’s with football in the tank and long before the SEC Network cash cow. People need to stop acting like Alleva has resurrected a failed corporation.

F king is the main problem. I know plenty of people who deal with him on a regular basis and nobody likes that narcissistic idiot. He’s an academic trying to run a major business (let’s face reality with the university) and he’s so over his head it’s incredible. He needs to be run out of town 3 years ago.

Alleva cooperates with KA funneling more and more $$$$$$$ to the academic side.

But you are right anyone can make money, Alleva's job is to make more money and siphon as much as he can to academics.

Because administrators in LSU's athletics department gauge fan reaction with dollars and cents.

STOP SPENDING MONEY ON LSU SPORTS!

If you love LSU and you want to see a change in leadership, this is what you must do. It's short-term pain for long-term gain.

I've been arguing this for years but it will never happen. People just can't bring themselves to part with their season tickets.
