Clark left after 08. That was his ONLY season at LSU. He was a JUCO transfer. And that was not Mainieri's first year.

+ I said he needs to start recruiting players like them. I didn't say he hasn't.

Clark WAS recruited by Mainieri

Mainieri recruits players like him...the MLB draft gets in the way.

I don't see where our pitching was the big problem last year

Wasnt terrible but not great either for a baseball program at LSU. Him being let go was more due to locker room issues than anyhing else.

Javi should be the next PM buddy to go

I think sanchez might be a problem. But it could be that guys we have are just not good hitters. Wasn't sanchez a part of the 2008 and 2009 team? We hit pretty damn well then.

i dont like Sanchez, but we are averaging 8 runs per game.

today was the best pitcher we have faced all year.

No. It was the relief pitching that did us in last year.

Yeah high school can be real time consuming. That's why I'm glad to be an adult with a full-time job and family. So much more free time now than when I was in high school.

I did not see Appalachian State's pitcher, but anytime we go against a quality hurler, we could struggle. We do not have many quality bats on the squad at this time.

Keep in mind though we scored 19 runs in one of those games.

Averages don't mean shite for stats this early.
