As much as I hate to say it, these are kids, but they are getting a free-ride to college based on their ability to play football well. Just like a student on academic scholarship, you have to perform to maintain it. If they don't perform, they will be graded/treated accordingly. These are grown men, whether you like to admit that or not. 18 is an adult.

Similarly, I can understand people's frustrations, but I don't agree with directly booing a player. In the end, it's just a game, but they have a right to do it, and no other fan can say they are wrong for it. They see things differently, and that's their right.

What some on here are advocating is controlled behavior, and yet most of you make fun of socialism and people like Obama supporters. That's the biggest hypocrisy of all of this.

I love having a good team, but I HATE seeing the chair sections clear out at halftime. It's an embarassment. I know there are thousands of loyal fans like myself who would go to every game and stay for the whole thing if we could get tickets at a reasonable price. Personally, I can't afford $1500 tickets from Stub Hub, sold by, you got it, the corporate arse holes.

I was watching the replay tonight adn there were empty seats everywhere...and in the 3rd quarter. Worse than last week, IMO.

Reality is that the Student Section and Greek sections are the biggest problems.

On the replay, those sections look pretty full still i the 3rd quarter. Doubt that ran off fans all throughout the stadium. With that being said, I am sure there are problems in those sections.

Get rid of the Greek section.

the SS stayed strong until somewhere in the 4th, and were loud during the game (for a game like this). greeks bailed out at half.

LSU fans will only go back to the "old LSU fans" when we are the underdog at every home game and dont expect to win. Obviously, that would require us being a shitty team and I would prefer us not be a shitty team. While I don't agree with everything that LSU fans do, I love gameday and love standing in the student section. Some of you seem completely miserable...and its like a buzz kill to someone like me who still loves lsu football.

If someone around you boos or bitches in TS, just kick the f'ker in the nuts, go on with your life AND CHEER for the tigers!

It's repeatedly always the Student Section getting called out. I've sat in the student section, corporate seats, and the south endzone. The student section is the only wild part of the stadium. The rest of the stadium are a bunch of "glory days" people who bitch like they know everything (rantards probably) and about how they were better student section members. Here's a hint. If you get rid of the student section, the allure of the stadium is lost in a big way. The reason. To us, it may look embarrassing, but when you're a team coming into an unhinged, rude environment, it's a lot harder to play than if you just go into a stadium that "sticks to the script" and "respects their fellow man". Not saying that everything the SS does is right or cool or respectful, but you people need to realize that sitting there with your radio listening to Hawthorne looking pissed off is making no impact compared to the rude, loud twenty one year olds in the student section.

all the older fans boast about the crazy shite they did in the student section when they were students and then turn and bitch about the things the students are doing now. i dont really see the difference

i do have to say that every time people started the jordan jefferson chant i had to be like what the frick support your damn quarterback or he will keep playing shitty

Better concessions. Let me see, I can stay here and watch a mediocre performance and eat stale nachos or go back to my tailgate and eat hot gumbo and drink a cold beer...... and watch the mediocre performance at the tailgate.
