Our boys are rolling, and playing with passion. Notre Dame will obviously be an even higher step up in talent, what are your thoughts going into tonights game?

Honestly not sure. Michigan game gives me positive vibes, but Notre Dame has been great under their current coach. This will be a serious test and gauge to see where we are right now.

I just want to see high energy, good execution and if they have that who knows, it could be a close game. I know they will fight win or lose something they didn't do the last few seasons.

It will be a big challenge even if we play well. That being said, it's definitely worth staying up for.

Notre Dame will likely beat us by double digits, but I hope that doesn't discourage anyone.

Last night was huge. Avoiding Chaminade and playing another real game in Maui is big.

Notre Dame is Elite 8 caliber good this season. Hopefully we play well and compete into the 2nd half. Gotta defend the three-point line.

I expect a loss after a close first half. Notre Dame is better than Michigan.

This. I know fans don’t like moral victories, but a clean game against a really good team where we don’t beat ourselves with turnovers and bad defense would be a huge step.

Good win. Will go a long way in making them believe in themselves. That will pay off in March should they make the tourney.
Kind of like the ‘86 team with D. Taylor running the point.

Matt Farrell and Bonzie Colson are Seniors that went off last night against an over-matched Chaminade team. Those are the guys that I'm sure we will gameplan around.

If we continue to shoot at the clip we are shooting at and cut out the turnovers we've got a chance against anyone

I’m not expecting to win. Playing Notre Dame will at least help with our SoS and our tourney chances

Pressuring the ball after the made free throw with purpose and execution...this is LSU basketball?? Amazing, coaching does matter.

I'm excited to see the change in culture - yes, that part of the process is definitely happening in the wee stages of this season going LIVE. Vets and rookies learning how to play as one machine - very encouraged by the high level of unselfishness demonstrated by these Tigers.

Coach Wade will be the first to say that we have a long way to go, and of course he's right. Our ability to defend the perimeter in our 3 wins, for example; and there were moments during Michigan's late rally where we looked like deer in the headlights - these things did not detract from my experience and, in fact, I expect to see plenty more growing pains moving forward.

But no one can argue that Coach Wade hasn't already delivered on his promise to make our program fun to watch. How cheap are the student tickets right now? Holy cow, this is hands down the best $ value for entertainment if you have a student I.D.

Wow, what must all the long time sufferers be feeling right now?

And if we pull the upset tonight, EMTs putting in the work. Win or lose, I'm ridin'!

ND is a very good team. They generally take a backseat to no one in offensive execution. However, ND can struggle a bit vs. teams who take great effort to lock them up defensively. Their success comes from being a well-oiled machine who can shoot the ball well from outside. BUT, they don't overwhelm you with raw athleticism. In the past, they have struggle with teams that can out-athlete them on the defensive side. Florida St. has been one of those teams occasionally. FSU is always very athletic but not particularly well-coached. However, they take advantage of their athleticism most on defense. That can give ND trouble.

LSU played good, but not great defense last night. There was a stretch in the 2nd half where LSU simply could not get a stop. ND is a better offensive team than Mich. The savior is that LSU has been (outside of the TO's last night) incredible on offense. LSU had their worst shooting night of the season vs. Michigan. And they shot 59% from the field!! It's only 3 games, but LSU leads the COUNTRY in FG%.

IF LSU can make life tough for ND defensively, they have a shot. LSU has some long athletes who can give ND fits (if LSU is fundamentally sound). If the defense shows up and LSU shoots the ball even 3/4ths as good as they've shot it thus far, they have a chance. This isn't a horrible matchup for LSU.
