People were predicting 4 Heismans. Now it looks like he'll only win 3.

Some people said it after the Wisky game... Which was his 1st game in college and agaiant a pretty damnnn good team and D.

Now, people are calling for him to get the ball more.

Over-reaction by the rant. Happens all the time.

Agreed. He's not as impressive as young Faulk, Alley Broussard, or Cecil were.

The same reason people consider Les Miles to be an offensive wiz.

Paul Allen nailed it, LF is a good powerful back.

The amazing thing to me this year is that none of the backs have gone the long distance. 46 yards is LSU's longest run by Harris, LF has a 40 yard run, and TM has a 38 yard run.

Maybe I'm wrong but it seems LSU has had several 50-70 plus yard TD runs for many years. Hopefully they will get some in the next three games.

So far this season LSU is averaging 4.5 yards per rush. LSU's opponents are at 4.4.

He didn't set the world on fire at the beginning of the season, so based on several delusional fans' expectations he is a bust.

Now if you ask anyone with a clue, he has been as good as advertised.

Definitely not a bust, but as good as advertised? No
LF is a good RB with potential to be great, but the AP comparisons so far...no

was he compared to AP?

or was it just said that he was the best back to come out of HS since AP?

I remember the latter, not so much the former

Doing what he is doing against 8 and 9 man boxes, yes he is as good as advertised. Peterson had the luxury of a passing game that defenses had to honor.

I'm not saying he is as good as AP was as a freshman, but taking into account all factors, he is living up to my expectations

Salmon, maybe you are correct. Next question: At this point do you think LF is the best college freshman RB since AP? I would love to say yes he is no doubt. We all see the skill set and he is very good, but I cannot say that either.

I stand corrected...but they still will take any opportunity to troll LSU.
