At first I was cussing everything in sight.

After I cussed every inanimate object in the room, I looked for a dog to kick. No dogs in the room so I downed my double crown.

Then and multiple apologies.

I don't even want to say what I did when I saw the OM "clock it" play unfold. I did not realize I had that much anger in me. Good thing I was alone that day.

That is worse than a loss in my opinion.

Broke my toe kicking a brick. Then my kids ran out to tell me that we won.

Went from unbelievable anger (but not as much as the "clock it" game) at the play calling which was going cost us the game, to rage as time was running out and the ball was snapped past JJ and recovered by UT, to disbelief as the penalty was called, to nervousness as we lined up for the untimed play, to disbelief/relief/numbness when we punched it in. I honestly felt no joy. I was completely wrung out.

The full gamut of emotions.

I didn't cheer, turned to the people that sit next to us and said, "welp see ya next week." and quietly left the stadium. Then I proceeded to get blackout drunk

Are yall mad about the other close games we have won?
No, mad is not the right emotion. Disbelief maybe...that a team so talented could be so mismanaged.

I have always been a fan of Miles...always thought it would be hard to find someone better...after that last play I had no idea there was a flag and my resolve was gone...my brother called me and I went on a fire Les Miles rant...we watched the untimed down while on the phone and then we both couldn't believe it. My resolve returned and I hopped back on the Miles' bandwagon and I have been there ever since...

I was in the student section and when I saw JJ frick up the snap I was so agry I began to tirade and was soo pissed I got up and left stormed right out the stadium using every profanity I could think of but before I could get to the exit a security guy came running and was like wait there's a flag the play isn't dead come and then I heard the roar of tiger fans so I rushed in and saw we had an untimed play. I was so nervous I started praying please god let us score which we did and I was the most ecstatic I have ever been after a win.

Now that I think about it the UT section seemed like it took forever to clear out they had to be stunned the entire section sat there for like 30 ins after the game

saw the botched snap...aka..genius move by T-Bob

I'm still trying to figure out what exactly happened. The ball was right there where Jefferson could grab it, but he was looking off the the left. The entire line went when T-Bob snapped it, so they knew that the ball was snapped. It doesn't look like T-Bob just decided to go on his own. I wonder if Jefferson was expecting a different snap count than the rest of the team.

In any case, snapping it instead of letting time run out is the best choice. Go down hoping for the improbable or you'll go down waiting.

When LSU fumbled on the last play and lost to UT, I turned off the TV and have not watched a football game since.

Well, its UT week again. Anything interesting happen with LSU football over the past year?

Turned on ESPN and sure enough.

Didn't go that far. I said, "It's a damned shame the kids fought back and lose it like this...wait, hold the phone... TOO MANY MEN ON THE FIELD. There's no way we don't win now. This is way easier than the Bluegrass Miracle."

True story.

We won and I was pleased.

I don't care how we win. I only care that we did win.

It was a disappointing team effort on offense, but the team over came that and some poor coaching to win.

"Just win, Baby!

So I live in TN and was watching it with some UT people. At the end of the game I was standing by the door because I had to leave right away to make a speaking engagement. After the fumbled snap I congratulated them and took my kid to the car. As I'm buckling him in somebody came out and told me to come back in, the game isn't over. As LSU scored I just stood there in disbelief. As I drove off I turned on UT's flagship station just to hear people talk about the end. Funniest thing happened then, the first commercial on was Derek Dooley giving a public announcement about drinking and driving: "Don't let yourself make a crucial mistake at the end of a game, don't drink and drive." I laughed pretty hard after that.
