Very active on the boards and around the rim. He’s going to one of it not best defenders on our team by seasons end.

Physically developed similar to Brandon bass.

Had some good put backs and gave good defensive effort.

When fully healthy starting lineup should be:

Smart
Thomas
Watford
Days
Leblanc

Cannot afford to not start Leblanc with his presence on the boards and defensively.

His length and athleticism is as advertised...he had two putback dunks and played excellent defense.

Looked good, 5pts, 8 boards, he will definitely contribute big time this year. Happy as hell to have him. Dude was all freshman Big East at Georgetown.

He's athletic. I like his motor.

He played 14 minutes today. Had 5 points (2 put back dunks) and a total of 8 rebounds.

I agree! Don’t really need a 5th guy to score. Need someone to crash boards and play defense. That’s what LeBlanc give you.

We have great depth as well.

Also, I think Manning is important but he doesn’t look himself yet.

Admittedly I couldn’t watch but from everything people are saying about him I like this lineup better than 18-19 which is saying a lot.

It’s a great lineup.

Leblanc is definitely the rim protector/rebounder they are missing for sure.

Yeah, not at all. Bass was MUCH thicker than Leblanc. He was a good 25 lbs heavier.

Leblanc is built more similar to Jordan Mickey. Both were about 6'7", but had tremendous length.

Yep. The length is bothersome and he showed great anticipation. Not just on the putbacks. He was like a condor out there at times and just swallowed up rebounds. Plus, he didn't look uncomfortable guarding out on the wing. A few time he surprised the ballhandler by poking the ball away when it looked like he had no shot to reach it.

Considering it looks like this team is going to be inconsistent on defense, as a whole, this year, I can't imagine he doesn't find his way into the starting line up (or at least starters minutes) by SEC play. He's too good on defense and the glass.

I was very impressed. He reminds me of Dennis Rodman. He is always competing. He is savvy, and 100% in the game all the time.

I like the Rodman comparison, even though it's only 1 game.
He plays alot taller than he is because of his wing span.
I also believe he will help Days down low.

This team really does have alot of pieces to make a run.

I get what you're saying. I will clarify. Compared to the other guys on the court, his physicality stood out in a way similar to Brandon Bass. Grown arse man bodies. Not necessarily shaped the same way, but both physically developed.

I don't remember Mickey's shoulders being as broad as LeBlanc's, but Mickey also just seemed to be slimmer.
