Joe Mixon didn't fall as far as Guice and they had video of him punching a woman.
Kareem Hunt punched a woman out and was fired from the Chiefs only to be hired 2.5 months later.
NFL only cares if there is outcry.

the NFL always does their homework. they have eyes everywhere and the coaches will tell them what's really going on.
Though in the NFL its talent over substance. sometimes it works out, many times it does not

Maybe they thought it wouldn't go public. The NFL does not give a shite what these players do off the field unless/until it hits the news cycles.

Remember he said they asked him if he was gay?
If this actually did happen, I would guess it was some type of phycological test to see how he would react and how he
controls his emotions.
Or, they asked him about other allegations, and he decided to tell a lie about what they really asked about. This would be a tactic to get the talking heads to talk about the "lingering homophobia" in the league. Since we know the talking heads will run with a juicy meme instead of chasing down and verifying an incredible tale, it was a risk worth taking.
Not totally convinced that's what happened. But, it seems to me that it would work.

They know everything before they make a decision on a player. His stock went down close to draft day likely bc they knew he had those issues BUT they still drafted him. Doesn't seem like they would have pulled the trigger, especially in this day an age, if they thought it was THAT big of a deal.
Because LSU vouched for them. Said they were perfect human beings but some knew they were scumbags. LSU’s reputation is burnt.

An entire NFL team wore stickers in solidarity with a rapist and woman abuser (Saints). What do you think the test is exactly at the entrance to the rapist and woman abusers fan league

“Everybody is saying I have character issues,” Guice said Wednesday. “I’m a hothead. Problems off the field. There’s been no record of any problems. Never been in trouble with the law. Never been suspended or anything. I’m great in the community; I saved a woman’s life the other week. Always interacting with fans.”

NFL is dirty.....and the NCAA is the NFL's bitch.

The fake accusation of a team asking him scandalous questions should've been enough to make him barely draftable

NFL employs a lot of POS humans

Given the average shelf life of a RB in the NFL is relatively short, it might be worth the risk for teams to draft dudes with these types of "adversities" and hope it doesn't get exposed or at least later rather than sooner.
