They know everything before they make a decision on a player. His stock went down close to draft day likely bc they knew he had those issues BUT they still drafted him. Doesn't seem like they would have pulled the trigger, especially in this day an age, if they thought it was THAT big of a deal.

Right, because the NFL is known for its stellar scandal prevention efforts.

Remember he said they asked him if he was gay?

Maybe they asked him if he was gay bc they wanted to know why he was always beating up women.

He didn’t. He was projected as a first round pick and dropped like a rock right before the draft remember?

It's clear the NFL knew about at least some of these issues with Guice

Right?

I mean, AB is still with Tampa and he has a laundry list of accusations against him, including rape, and Arians said hew would be out if one more thing happened. Well, it came out that he went on a little tirade just before joining Tampa and there he is...still on the roster.

He did drop. And it was reported that several teams took him off their draft board.

Washington took the risk and got burned.

They cited personal issues? I remember him dropping, but didn't research the "why"

Maybe these red flags was the reason behind his fall. I remember being shocked when he didn’t go to Seattle at 31

He was still drafted in the second round.

One rape charge, if they thought there was enough evidence to suggest it occurred, would be enough to make him undraftable, much less two credible charges. This was during the height of #MeToo and all the other scandals going on in the NFL.

Just doesn't seem likely that a team would take on THAT type of risk if they thought it was more than an allegation....

at the end of the day, NFL teams really don't give a shite about behavioral issues until it makes the team look bad. I would also bet that the NFL investigations into players and incidents turns up more information than the actual police. The redskins even sent people from the team to conduct their own interviews with the LSU women with claims against Guice

What I don't understand is, with the #metoo shite going on, how that didn't leak out all over the place while he was at LSU or waiting to get drafted.

I mean, believe all women. Speak truth to power. Why didn't they start making scenes about how much of a rapist he was.

Because what he did in college was a character concern not an eligibility concern.

Nothing at LSU is effecting his ability to play in the NFL. Not to excuse his behavior but that’s what NFL teams are worried about.

Yall dont remember? I remember the nfl draft guys saying it was the way he just played video games all the time. They felt it was a red flag on his maturity

Nah man... A character concern like that is an eligibility issue as far as the NFL is concerned. There is no way they are signing a player that they believe there is credible evidence to suggest he raped two girls. No chance.

I remember there were reports that NFL teams had questions about his character and this board lost its mind saying he was just a hardworking humble young man that was the greatest human to walk this earth and they are making things up or something like that.
