How close was billy cannon To having 2 heismans?

I was looking at tue heisman winners and runner ups and he was second the year before he won!

If he had won it that year I'm sure it would have hurt his chances to win it the following year again.

Archis is the exception not the rule and he shouldn't have won 2 anyway

If Tebow hadn't had such an insane year in 07 he prob would have won back to back in 08

Tebow should have won two. i think if they voted after the championship he would have won in 2008. I think they should do this. Not only would it help differentiate between two players after they play top notch competition in bowl games, but it would also eliminate the prebowl game distraction of post season trophies.

His senior year he was 2nd in yards & tds in the Big Ten.
