Does anyone know how I can get my 10-year-old son an autograph from Tommy White? He's a huge fan. Any information would be greatly appreciated it.

You can usually catch the players down the first base line if you get to the park early enough. Also, after the game, the players generally stick around to interact with the youngsters. Someone posted earlier how Tanks made it a point after one of the scrimmages last week to do autographs and take pictures for like an hour after.

Although you can snag a few before the game, your best shot at getting autographs is staying after the game ends and if possible the last game of a weekend series. Have him go down to the wall near the dugout and post up there. Good luck!

The previous posts are the best free way to do it. You can also keep track of the sports collectors shows around here as they get hired for these. There is one this weekend that does not include him but has Ricky Williams, Warren Morris, Jacob Hester, and Dalton Hilliard

Go to a game. He signs a lot for a player of his caliber. My son got him at a fall game in 22, got him and a few others a Blue Boot Rodeo, and again on Saturday

ETA: the players kind of spread out and he wasn't trying to get Tanks again but he wasn't complaining that TW picked his spot to sign. I saw Neal, Jones, and 3-4 others signing as well. He tried to go get Jones, but he was done signing which is understandable. Travinski, Milazzo and Neal are next on his list since he plays catcher

Do people still get autographs? Why? They're like filming a concert. You'll never look at that shite again.

Do you seriously not know why a 10yr old would want his favorite athlete's autograph?

I mean they are not gonna stop the game so he can come over from 3B and autograph something but if you are resourceful you can figure out a way like others have said, sometimes before the game players will sign and more likely after the game if you wait is probably the best time.

When my son was little we went after the game one time by where the players came out and pretty much got the whole team to sign a baseball.

Well I've been 10 years old, my brothers have been 10 years old, my many male cousins have been 10 years old. It was never important. Now a high five or hand shake would have been awesome.

I still look at all the autographed baseballs, gloves, batting gloves, posters, footballs, and all the other cool things I’d get from going to LSU games as a kid. Lots of memories and I remember all of those moments like they were yesterday. Some of my favorite childhood memories were doing these things.

Just wait by the 1B line wall outside the dugout AFTER a game. Tommy is one of the guys who sticks around and makes his way down the line!
