With O? About 3-9.

With a new competent coach? 7-5.

It's rebuilding time.

What the frick is it that you're talking about?

Well O has made Canada his scapegoat and I can't imagine him sticking around and ruining what's left of his reputation by working under O.

I can also imagine Aranda saying enough of this BS and leaving for a head coach job somewhere or taking a D.C. job somewhere more stable.

I think it is more likely than not that both are gone after this season.

Yeah, I can't believe this hasn't sunk in yet. There will be coordinator positions open, there are every year (because the top young ones get midlevel HC jobs). Aranda will have options both at midlevel schools as a head, or step into a DC elsewhere.

Canada absolutely won't stick around here, he might even drop to a mid-major as an OC just to get clear.

Yeah, it likely will be, if he's still here, barring some unforseen turnaround.

Orgeron has never run a program successfully over any duration. His only claim to any success has been as an interim. Interim jobs ride the program of the former coach the remainder of that season, organizationally and schematically. You don't have time to put your own system in.
At Ole Miss he got worse over time. So whatever 'system' he had there, was failing. There was success after he left, so the players played better for someone else. Given that they play poorly for him here, you wonder if that's because he doesn't have structure and discipline.

His best skill was as a recruiter. That means he's good at convincing kids of something, getting them to like him. He has reacted to stuggles this season by calling out the "3rd team running back" and saying we have "no kickers on the team"; his words. In other words, he gets kids to like him, then blames them when the team loses. This type of shite creates a bad locker room, bad chemistry, and you better believe future recruits have seen and heard that. Combined with a likely poor record, and a competitive recruiting trail, and the expected loss of coordinators (and O himself having no stabilizing influence on either side of the ball), this is going to make future recruiting harder and harder. With less talent coming in, the record may dip further. And so the death spiral will go.
Fire the clown now, we may salvage things and get back to relevance before the current class graduates. Each season in will have a compounding effect; what once was a year away becomes 2 or three down, as the roster declines in overall talent.

Let the knee jerking, overreacting, pussified bitching begin, headed by one of the queen overreactors. I wish all you bitches would find another team.

Well said, but with one oversight. Keep O until F King and Alleva are replaced.

Alleva made two damning mistakes, hiring O and giving him a buyout.
F King approved the buyout, which establishes his incompetence.

We don't want these buffoons selecting the next coach.

I can't believe more people, especially the O supporters don't get this.

Rumor is recruting is already taking big hits. One bad recruiting class likely results in a 2 year setback at best.

With no solid recruiting and no good coordinators wanting to work for this buffoon, we are screwed at least for the duration of Os tenure plus 2 years.

A good new coach next year MIGHT be able to salvage things. But if the new coach doesn't come in until 2019, he will literally have to rebuild the program from scratch.
