How bad will it be if we lose Walker/Nuss because Daniels cant make a decision fast?

If Daniels has not announced yet, he’s probably coming back. Personally I’m thinking Nuss leaves. Walker backing up Daniels in 23 would be ideal considering Daniels style makes him injury prone.
Hell maybe even have some packages that utilize both guys. Ease Walker into the mix then he’s ready to be QB1.

There’s no downplaying how bad that would be..
Howard is considered arguably the most valuable recruit in BK’s first class. One with Perkins, Campbell, Jones. And to think we would lose him just to watch Daniels hold the ball for 5 seconds every play because he’s confused by a Cover 3 zone scheme is not it.
Nuss is okay to lose IMO. You don’t frick around with Howard though. He is the first 5* QB from Louisiana that LSU has landed since… Perriloux? Regardless, he’s a special talent. You don’t waste him to start Jayden fricking Daniels one more year.
This would be LSU’s version of the Jake Fromm/Justin Fields situation.

I hate to lose anyone, but in the portal era it's the way things are. This would be the best case scenario, imo.

The fact he hasn’t announced a decision does not imply he has not made one. If you hadn’t noticed, the portal transfer and draft declaration messages came out in a very orderly fashion. It’s also not an accident that Desmond Ricks is announcing the day after early signing day. Kelly has this process set up in a controlled and calculated manner.
As Howard and Nuss, Daniels’ decision has zero impact on Howard this season. If anything, his staying improves the chances of Howard still being here in 2024. The one thing that might cause him to transfer is Nuss starting in 2023 and heading into 2024 as the incumbent.
