Most reasonable guys realize that BH has a live arm and good % #s overall. But that is not enough to be considered a good QB in my book. These are the items that really count in order to be a very good QB(great is not even in the conversation as of yet):1) smart and good decision-maker 2)excellent leadership skills and IT" 3) Toughness and grit 4) can make all the throws and especially in clutch moments . Personally, I haven't seen much of any of the listed 4 yet from BH. But I'm hoping to do so this year...but ya' know what they say about hoping in one hand and ____ in
...I'm pulling for BH but looking for evidence along the way. Etling seems to have the right attitude at the moment. But would like to see him play and see what he's got....which ever one can bring a NC is my choice...lol

BH is cams guy, first QB he signed to LSU. He's sticking with him the whole year unless Harris just royally shits the bed

This. To answer the OP's question, if Harris isn't starting and taking all meaningful snaps he will either be injured or will have seriously fricked things up.

Etling more likely to throw and complete short to medium passes which will reduce three and outs. Got to play the percentages to improve time of possesion 10-15% over last year. You can call the race card all you want but you're wrong, brutha. For that matter, if next year was a rebuilding year with no championship aspirations, I'd say start Lindsey Scott September 3rd - and he ain't white.

Wtf are you talking about? Where did this ever actually occur? He's never shown this ability in his game time experience. Not once. So either this is just more hearsay rumor bullshite, you're pulling it out of your arse, or you're racist. End of story.

In actual game experience Etling has not shown to be any better than any other QB on our roster.

This is just another, "the backup QB is the best QB on the team and I just don't understand why Miles wants us to lose by playing the bad QB" fan infatuation.

Does anyone have a link to videos of this guy during spring practice so far? That might be too much to ask for, I know.

Brandon Harris just needs to go out and do it this season and put all the naysayers to rest, but he has to get help from the people calling the plays and you know who that be. A lot of what people are arguing about on here with sustaining drives has to do with the play calling, and Cameron and co. needs to put BH in position to easily get first downs consistently.

You can't keep running the damn ball all the time and then get your QB in a 3rd and long situation and expect him to hit a clutch pass or do some ridiculous run play involving the QB on a keeper that they have been known to do sometimes. No, the play calling this season must be clear and decisive with no hesitation whatsoever where he is not staring over at the sidelines and shite. I don't understand all that! Why can't you have plays already called in order ready to go so as to run some hurry up stuff sometimes to catch teams off guard on defense. LSU is always unready and confused looking on offense. Harris is confused with what he's doing, you can see it and so that leads to a QB looking and playing bad.

This season I hope all that is worked out. The only thing he should be looking to the sideline for is to change a play call.

He's shown at various times he does. Blanket statements are easier for the average person though.
