Trey Holly so - ???
Harlem Berry fr - Stud B

This is the best RB group we’ve had in 10 years.

The best freshman in the SEC last year in Durham. A 3rd year guy who can run you over or run away from you in Jackson, the best incoming Freshman in America in Berry and another great freshman reportedly.

If this is a need position, this is like saying the ‘85 Bears needed a better 4th RB behind Walter Payton.

If Durham goes down we are absolutely screwed. No Josh Williams to at least pass block anymore. I just dont think this offensive staff believes in running the ball, maybe they think they dont have to?

We certainly have the receivers and TEs to throw it every down. I guess. But when Nuss has one of his glitches and throws 9 incompletions in a row thats bad for the defense, no rest.

The ones that can pass protect will get meaningful snaps. Seems like the biggest challenge for freshman, as that may not have been required of them in HS.

It’s going to be the Durham and Berry Show. And…. It will be a wonderful show.

This is what scares me most. Our best blocking RB is gone, and the staff just doesn't seemed worried about it.

Dude was a beast in High School at QB. I don’t know if it will translate to the college level but he broke all kinds of records.

Because as a frosh, he averaged about 5.5 yards with four tds.

Yes. We fell in love with the msu game but 2023 was better than 2024 for him.

That’s not gonna stop Harlem Berry from seeing the field. If you are good enough it doesn’t matter what class you are. True freshmen play all the time in college football.

Name a running back off a national championship team outside Clyde because he was ours, in the last decade. I’ll wait. Don’t Google it

I may be an outlier, but super senior Josh Williams negatively impacted the development of Jackson. Jackson is good enough...hopefully with more in game reps, he will be better this year. He's our RB2.

Kaleb Jackson negatively impacted the development of Kaleb Jackson, and he basically said as much in an interview recently. Jackson actually got 13 MORE carries as a sophomore than he did his freshman year, despite Josh taking a lot of the load and Durham coming in and showing him up. He flat out said he put on too much weight, was getting back down to 225 range and really had lost his first step. He was learning a lot last year and was just not effective at all. It had nothing to do with not getting the ball as much, he didnt earn any carries when he did play and he'd probably tell you exactly the same.

I don’t know anything about Trey holly anymore. I assume he’s not here for 2025.

Safe bet. If he asks for another trial continuance you can etch that in stone.

He might not get much action in Year 1 as a Fall enrollee but I think he’ll be a nice surprise once he gets going.
