Where is somewhere good to stay for the game that's not outrageously priced? Probably Friday-Sunday.

Why are you staying in Houston? Seems like you could get a room much closer to BR.

Oh, wait...

I stayed at the DoubleTree once. Cabs are easy to find, but hotel gave me a shuttle to drop me off where I needed to be.

Westin Downtown is badass. Uber can take you around town, too.

Just don't stay southwest of the stadium.

Houston is a weekday town. Thousands of empty hotels that weekend. No idea where people will hangout after. I just want leave and get back, houston sucks.

I live downtown, and staying downtown and taking the rail to Reliant is the way to go. It's cheap easy and relatively clean . . . much cleaner than the NYC Subway, for instance.

I would consider Hotel Icon, the Sam Houston Hotel, the Magnolia, or the Courtyard Marriott for rail proximity. The Icon would be the best hotel for downtown bars, as it is across the street from the 300 block of Main, which is blowing up.

Midtown is the place to go out for that age group. The rail drops off at a weird spot in Midtown, so you'll want to take an Uber, which is cheaper than a cab.

Nice hotel, I stayed there last week. Overnight parking is rather expensive, but that's what you get in downtown Houston (or almost any downtown).

We are staying at the houstonian. I've been assuming we'll take cabs. Does the rail come close to that area?

Driving in Friday, driving home after the Astros game Sunday. Staying at the La Quinta right by the stadium.

I'd go to this game if Astroworld was still there. That was the only intriguing thing about Houston. Now it is nothing to me.
