1. UT 2005

passed out during 1st quarter from heat exhaustion/drinking too much. I was a freshmen, first game of the year.

2. App St. 2008 (moved to the morning because of hurricane)

Passed out afterwards and forgot a hurricane was coming, drank too much again.

Check my reply on the first page. But I still like to think I'm relatively young anyway.

Mississippi State game back in the 90s. Blistering hot, then it rained buckets, then it got even fricking hotter.
yeah, that one.

while i'm here, i think the hottest I've been at an LSU event was away from LSU:

football: Kyle Field for a 1pm kickoff in 1992 or 1994. early september. surface of the sun hot and it is blistering coming off of that hellacious artificial turf. I was sitting in players family seats and several old folks were carted out.

baseball: game 1 or 2 (can't remember) against Texas in the CWS Finals 2009. I honestly did not know the Midwest could get that hot.

It was an early afternoon kickoff, and ofcourse it was the first weekend of the season in early September. Absolutely miserable. We actually rehashed part of that game over on the recruiting board a couple days ago.

I was only 13 btw.

i was there. sat on the 2nd row and you could feel the heat coming up from the turf. Curley's second game, i think, after we lost to Ga. That was the hottest game i ever went to. I'll never go back to a/m either.

y'all talking about the 1993 LSU-A&M game at TS where Ryan Huffman ran in a TD and LSU tied it up and we were all like yeah and they proceeded to skullfrick us?

Hottest game ever in Tiger Stadium

quote:

Florida 2001 was cold. Our krewe had to stop in at the store and buy sweatshirts before going to the game.

That's the way I remember it also. Cloudy and windy.

Hmmm. Wasn't it the first home game back after 9/11, with Lee Greenwood singing "God Bless the USA" ?
Maybe I'm thinking of the game just prior to 9/11 on Sept. 8 vs Utah State?

i was too hot to remember all the details (east side) but it was early in Curly's career and we had recruited like 5 tailbacks, each supposed to be studs. we got killed. I'm also too lazy to look it up.

Oregon State was very hot before the down pour and streakers.

Ohio State was hot as he'll when Hodson was there.

Arizona in the late 2000's was hot.

The hottest I have ever been was in Omaha game 1 championship series. It's not even close. Dasani was $5 a bottle, I bought six of them. They ended up selling out of water. It was brutal. Does anyone else who was there recall how hot that was ?

Utah State was a night game, I don't remember it being unusually hot but it could have been. Florida was the first game back after 9/11, we had a bye and then were at Tennessee. But the Florida game was definitely pretty cold.

I think Greenwood sang later in the season.

wasn't there for UT 05 but the app state game was the hottest I've ever been in my entire life.

I felt like I might not make it back to my car without passing out on the ground.

there was one MSU day game in TS some time in the late 90s, early 2000s, that was the most humid game I've ever attended. Don't know about hottest, but it was literally one big sauna. Rained quickly right before the game and then the sun came out and you coulda steamed crabs in the bleachers.

I'm thinking about the same game I believe. Miserable and perhaps the most boring LSU game I've ever seen. Nothing but handoffs and humidity. I wasn't about to leave early, but I did keep looking at the scoreboard and hoping the clock would move faster.

I remember the 99 game vs. Auburn being pretty miserable, but that may have been the arse whipping more than the weather.

no, it wasn't the arse whipping ... tailgating in lot A when it was asphalt prior to the redesign was terrible that day ... easily the hottest game I can remember since the mid-80's.
