Why do people have to go to extremes?

Why can't it be that Burrow made a huge jump from 2018 to 2019, and Brady contributed to his performance, as did Ensminger, as did the WRs?

Think Burrow would have thrown a TD pass in October or scored vs Bama?

Probably but that's not the point I'm making. Onviously he cane in and revamped the offense.

I just hate the lazy 2018 to 2019 argument.

All those players were completely different between 2018/2019.

Even if burrow wws in the "joe brady offense" in 2018 he still goes through those same growing pains.

The difference between true freshman chase and 2019 chase is huge.

Chase probably took the biggest leap between the players.

clearly that offensive coaching staff was able to take advantage of the talent…which is not something that always happens around here.

We’ve NEVER had that talent around here. That was almost an all-starting-NFL offense.

All five skill players were NFL studs their rookie year.
Three of our offensive linemen earned starting jobs in the NFL in preseason camp.
All of the other players made NFL rosters with Deculus being the exception since he is just finishing college.

Brady brought a lot to the table. Not the least of which were the pass catching drills. The drops were a big difference from 2018 to 2019.

That kind performance bump is never just one thing. It took Burrow, CEH, our all pro receivers holding on to the ball, Brady and Ensminger.

How you parese that credit out? I have my ideas and I think a lot of credit goes to JB, but not all and maybe not most either. But a lot. And what we saw doesn't happen without most of those factors, probably all, in play.

Maybe that’s why Brady wasn’t successful at Carolina.
Brady wasn't successful because his QBs couldn't hit the ground with a spiked pass. They were horrible, plus McCaffery has been injured.
