Skip doesn't necessarily believe that to be the truth..he just hopes his loyal sheeple buy it.
Then again, saying it right now, on the heels of Saban doing it yet again in just a few years, during this "tougher era"..maybe he's slipping quickly?
This era is so tough, Saban just was in last game contention for the BCSCG each of the last two years from the SEC, and Fla was for 3 of the last 4 years via the SEC..which the SEC has won four straight BCSCG. With Bama the runaway chalk to repeat next year.

Do you ever get tired of being wrong?

No doubt. Russian is firmly placing himself as one of the worst posters in a mass of many on this board.
Why? because he disagrees with you?
There are alot of bad posters here, many i agree with....but whether i agree with them or not doesn't make them a bad poster.

No, but he did have to face Spurrier at Florida. So what?
Being a senile Old Fart my memory may not be as good as yours so correct me if I'm wrong but that was only once and didn't the Visor hand him his arse in a hat that game?
And thanks to Elleshoe for reminding me of the Debacle Between the Bushes in '04.
And I'm not suggesting anything, just pointing out some things.

What I think (rather KNOW) is what I stated --- while at the "other" school in OK he beat the prevailing #1 coach/team/program in the Nation 2 out of 3 years and nearly 3 in a row.
People who discount this achievement have NO IDEA as to the disparity in talent and facilites between OSU and OU when this happened.
Much the same thing happened to Les with the fans at OSU as is happening now at LSU. When he was there, he took over a program that had been run into the ground under Bob Simmons and made them a winner. He built the foundation for Gundy's success by recruiting good players and having about as good a level of success as possible for the time period he was there and the talent level he had.
LSU fans think DiNardo left LSU in bad shape for Saban. It was nothing compared to what Les inherited at Okie St.
While he was coach at OSU and beating Zero U, bringing in good players and improving the program, he was loved by 'em all, just like he was when winning SEC and NC's at LSU. When he left to go to LSU, it was "good riddance", "You can have him", "He wasn't that good of a coach to begin with", "He's just a dumbass", etc.
And not only was the program shite when he inherited it, the facilities weren't much better than those of a top level high school. What Les accomplished at Okie St. is part of what makes me believe in him.
Oh, and in case you didn't notice, I live 5 miles from Norman and 60 miles from Stillwater.

I have to agree with Russian. this guy claims to be a fan of another team yet he has a considerable amount of post on our board and many of them are not true or anti LSU. He is one that I wish someone with this site would do something. Maybe he is here because the other school he claims has run him off!!!!!!!!!
