I wonder How good our team would be if we did not have midgets for guards'.
I expect that they will tweek the bats again in the fall and the HR numbers will go up!!!
I never said when I was there but it was about half way through the fall session

If you had Pete and Shaq you could just about have a blind draw to fill the rest! However Petitt was and is still thought very highly of by NBA people. I was lucky enough to have seen most of those that are mentioned since I was one of the original front row lunatics during the Dale Brown years

I have been saying that Coach M
went overboard in his reaction to the change in bats. I went to some of the fall practices and they were using wooden bats. I thnk he psyched the players into beliving that college baseball would be more like the wooden bat leagues that some of our players competed in last summer

the real loser!

the real loser in the baseball brackets this year is the team that would have had LSU in there regional! For baseall just about all the teams do not make enough money to pay for there program. A good example is the UCLA regional last year!( the Lsu fans probaly allowed UCLA to make a profit even with the lack of support from the UCLA fans Whoever made the decsion cost one host a chance to break even or make a profit
Why no SEC people on the selection committee?
Why no SEC peoplen on the selection committee?
the diference may be the change in the number of players on the roster. I believe they reduced the amount of players in the past several years
I have coached baseball many years and played many years and the worse was getting ejected at the plate for just looking back at the umpire and I never said a word!
catching is by far the toughest position to play and extremly tough for high school players to adjust to the grueling aspect of catching at this level and be expected to produce in the batters box also. I think if they stay you will see great advancment on their offense and defense

I feel that if our catcher from last year was back we would be much better! Two of our starting pitchers are freshmen and could use a very experience catcher to get them through the tough spots. What we have are 2 inexperienced starters and several inexperienced releivers that could use the guidance of an experienced catcher. I expect that next year with the 2 experienced starters and relievers we will be much better

I would like those in the position to make the decision to at least talk to Avery Johnson to see if he may have any interest in the job.He has ties to the Baton Rouge!
I was there when he was coaching at Baton Rouge in the YBBR in the 9-10 league when he went balistic after an umpires call and was ejected. I believe that was his last game to coach in that league. It was a shame that he couldn't control his temper because he could have helped those youngsters

sid will not apply for the job. he is the AD and basketball coach at Central and he like likes it that way. HE WILL NOT GO BACK TO REDEMTORIST!! Maybe Varnado will apply

I went to many practices during the season when
saban was the coach but I have not attended any since Miles. But really it is no big deal unless something special happens at the pratice

I am concerned about next years pitching with the possibility of our recruits going pro. Who are the proable Pitchers that will likely actually be here next season?

I am sorry but I never heard of Kirk Bullinger. what experience does he have?
Mighty Cajun I bet there are a lot of people who don't know who is in that picture with your post!
Is that a High School ball park? I don't remember what the attendance was when Catholic played in New orleans but I would bet there were almost or more than what the UCLA park can seat!
Most likely I will check on celtics game between innings but I will not miss a pitch of our Tigers. What a great invention the remote control!
