I remember when Dale Brown would schedule top ranked teams from across the nation. Duke, Michigan, etc.

I agree, to a point.

And you might want to change the "JJ" in the title...too many people are going to think you are talking about a certain former QB

Stop calling him JJ. Everyone in this fanbase has had enough of hearing those initials. Let's just got with Johnny or something

I live for the day that I can jump over here and never see those initials again.

I don't remember Duke or Mich. playing in BR.

I think JJ would want to go slow before taking on a lot of power teams. Beat downs at home don't help anything. imo

Color me disappointed.

agreed, I passed this thread up for a while before finally clicking it, solely because of seeing those initials (not because of the person, but more because of the :beatdeadhorse: )

don't recall Michigan, but definitely Duke. Also North Carolina, Georgetown, UNLV, all when they were powerhouses, just to name a few.

Absolutely agree - both with the scheduling and with the JJ thing. If you can't take the time and effort to type Johnny or Coach Jones then don't post because obviously it isn't important.

I hope he keeps a relatively easy schedule for season after the one coming up too. the schedule for the upcoming season was probably almost complete before he was even hired. For the two after this season I'd like to see more teams like UVA, Florida State, Texas Tech, OU etc mixed in with our in state games than Duke, Baylor, UNC etc... maybe after the next 2-3 seasons we will be ready for that type of competition.
