I went through this exact scenario with a client. Yes, you have recourse, even if you signed an AS-IS or Redhibition clause (those are for unknown defects). Cut a piece of banana peel that covers the area. Bandage it over the thorn with the inside of the peel against your skin. Leave it over night. Next morning, you’ll be able to pull it out. ...
