Kim isn’t quite as loved by the admin in the athletic department as she is with the general public. She’s very headstrong, crude, and women’s basketball has been in a huge financial hole since she arrived.

Great coach and I’m glad she won a title here, but she is looked at very differently from inside the dept vs outside.

Love Kim, but nobody really cares about Women’s basketball. I’d like to keep Jay. Verge is basically a yes man and will do whatever he is told. We will see how that works out.

Yea, okay.

LSU women's basketball home attendance last season - 10,607 per game

LSU baseball home attendance last season - 11,185 per game.

Honestly, I'd love for both coaches to stay. But if I have to choose, I'd rather we keep Kim.

She's sad for woodward and happy with Ausberry if you actually watched the press conference

I don’t give a shite about women’s basketball. I’d cut the program entirely and use the money for NIL. WBB is an awful sport until they lower the goal, cut the court in half and make it 3v3. It’s just bad basketball otherwise

Someone doesn’t know how NIL works.

This story is no longer a story, a jury dismissed the case against Ausberry and LSU, the former employee had no case.

There is no active lawsuit against Verge Ausberry for sexual misconduct, as the case brought by former LSU employee Sharon Lewis against LSU and others was dismissed by a jury in favor of the Board of Supervisors of Louisiana State University and Agricultural and Mechanical College. However, a 2021 independent investigation found that Ausberry was suspended for failing to act on sexual misconduct allegations, as were other LSU officials.
Initial disciplinary action: An external investigation led to the suspension of Verge Ausberry for 30 days without pay for his handling of sexual misconduct allegations. He was also ordered to undergo sexual misconduct training.
Related lawsuit: Sharon Lewis, a former LSU employee, sued LSU for retaliation after she reported misconduct. Her case was dismissed by a jury in December 2023.
Ausberry's current status: Ausberry returned to his position after his suspension.
Investigation findings: The 2021 investigation found that Lewis was the only employee who reported complaints, yet Ausberry and another administrator were suspended for not acting on them. This led to a lawsuit by Lewis, which ultimately failed.

She can leave and we can let women’s basketball fade and dedicate those resources to football and baseball

Of course she’s not. This will hurt her recruiting with this guy as AD.

Not sure where you got your numbers but Alex Box capacity is 10,718 So they were over capacity every game.

Maravich center is 13,215. So never sold out, but much better than men's basketball.

I would think baseball gets bigger ad money and tv money.
