Lots of traits in those 3 that can win plenty of games. Supporting cast not as strong as I thought but these Tigers will compete in year 1 no doubt. If WW gets this group to defend with their size and strength we should more more than a’ight.
Questions - do we have enough shooting to compete at the highest levels? Prolly not.

Dessert - a large man. Footwork and athleticism no where near Ruzik, but that large of a body has to be able to rebound and defend and intimidate guards for driving.

Bashir - bench player with green light. Will change some games when he’s on.

Dioubate - man alive that shot is ugly. I’m hoping he leans in to toughness, scrappiness, rebounding and defense and can help

Clark and Ugachukwi - still not sure what they bring yet. Neither stands out but maybe that’s a good thing if they lean in to team and let the 3 studs cook. defending, handling, and assists please.

Skyy Clark is a dawg. When he gets into rhythm, he will be one of our best guards.

That's what I got out of last night as well.

That's the foundation. Dessert is good and really big. He's obviously going to be a contributor.

I think the rest of our guard play might be just ok. Need more games to see.

Both mature and seem to play under control. Uga looks like a utility guard who can get into the lane and defend. Not a lights out shooter but can shoot if needed. Clark is a shocker. Very impressed with his play. Will probably compete with bashir for 3pt attempts. I’m sure uga is the better defender. If dent is on the bench, Clark should have the ball in hand.

Bashir, Dent and Clark are good from 3 when they are on. You could say Bashir is borderline elite from the 3 point range

Ruzik may very well be the MVP of this team!

Can't wait until the Gonzaga and Houston game!

I am as excited for men's basketball as I was for football for this season. The General is making this fun again.

I can see this guys potential. I think he just needs to get used to the pace of Americanized basketball. Worst case, he is a defensive force.

Will need his shooting this year.

Think Ruzic takes his minutes in competitive/tough games this year. Especially when we are playing big teams like Florida. Regardless, he is still a great player outside of the shooting.

I was impressed with Clark even though he couldn't score yesterday. He played solid defense and had a savvy court presence finding guys. His chemistry with Dent is also noticable.

Ugochukwu is a good all around college player. No complaints with him.

These guys were near perfect.

I’m expecting about .500 in SEC play. A middle of the pack team. That’s way better than bottom of the barrel McMahon. Next year will be the big jump.

This team is capable of a Sweet Sixteen run. They run well together, unselfish, will only get better.

Time will tell. It’s gonna be fun either way. That’s a win for all of us. Like Saban said “Big Motherf#*^kers beat little ones.” We have size and ability.

Yep. I'd be ecstatic if we pulled out a 10-8 SEC slate which I think is certainly possible.

This is funny. I didn't even look for other threads before making mine but we said almost the same thing. Good for independent observations to be consistent.

Levy is a very good 3 point shooter as well. Will has said that in multiple interviews.
