I'd have to lay the 11 1/2. The way LSU plays on road, this is simple. UK by 20.

You make some good points Alt. Inconsistent effort and intentsity has been as big an enemy of this team as anything.

Maybe it's just a combination of the personality of the team and coach, lack of team leadership, whatever. But sadly, it seems to be a realty. And defense is alot about intentsity and effort.

But if you can't get up to play in this environment, you are comatose.

No doubt HT. And the schedule actually lined up pretty good for us from that point to this and we totally blew the opportunity.

The one game of those 5 where I thought we actually played with the type of intentsity and effort we should was at Arkansas, yet in the last 4 minutes we just lost our poise and got run at the end.

Makes you wonder that even if we give our best effort today that we won't go brook trout at the end again.

I agree, I thought we showed great effort at arky but then we fell apart.

this team has major issues that fall both on the coaches and the players. I hope we turn it around today but if we throw the same shite passes we did vs state, uk is going to take them the other way for nasty dunks and get on huge runs.

we had to go 4-1 in that 5 game stretch. went 2-3.

one thing about today, if we keep it tight in the 1st half, we usually start the 2nd half on a little run (before ultimately slipping back into our usual form) so if we stay within 7 or 8 and come out on a little 12-4 run we may have the slightest of chances. i sure didn't have BC over syracuse the other night.

No question. Some will insist it's either or but that's human nature. Some of that is fans being loyal to and protective of CJJ and rationalizing some issues that I think are past rationalizing.

And on the other side some never want to trash the players and always put everything on the coaches.

Both share in the responsibility for this team not playing to the level they are capable of overall this year.

I'd love to see strong effort and intentsity and for us compete today as we're capable, but even if we do I'd be cautious going forward due to our consistent inconsistency.

I think our team plays well today. I don't think we'll win, but I wouldn't be suprised if this game came down to the final minute. It seemed like we were getting crushed at UK last year for majority of the game but we pulled within 1 point in the final 30 secs. Not to mention the fact that if the officials would've called that technical on Kentucky for having 6 people on the floor we would've probably won

Kentucky 89

Tigahs 67

The bubble has turned into 4 little bitty bubbles and LSU must draw the right one, which is going to be somewhere in the 4 glases we have to choose from.

NIT:Perhaps we play LA Tech and winner gets UAB (rematch) vs Georgia???

We win up there today and we are backl in the discussion big time.

How the hell did UA come out of nowhere and take over lone 3rd place?

Lamont Roland, Ashley Judd, Brent Scott, and Jared Lorenzen were spotted at the original KFC playing speed quarters and singing "Love Potion No. 9" barbershop quartet style.

All the predictions here of uk scoring only in the 80's or 90's is way too optimistic! Let me say they will get it to triple digits easy.

Being down a body is never good, but the way TQ has been playing...

Stringer should get more PT. Hopefully he's "hot" today.
