well that isn't good despite how shitty he has been playing. I think that forces us into even more zone

yea, too bad. quarterman has played better as games progress, its when he first comes into the game full of juice and takes quick.bad shots and bypasses open teammates. he settles in and does what he does best, drives and looks for the open man.

already down morgan as well so we'll need banana hammink to bring something today.

TQ is wearing on me. His play is average at best, and he seems so negative about life. I understand his good friend got shot and died, but at what point do you realize you have an opportunity to get out of that instead of being upset you weren't there? More power to him to go home for the funeral, he would be awful if that was on his mind.

maybe this event will push him to get better. he could use 1,000 shots a day in the gym and some time in the weight room

Im thinking with Quarterman out we need to start Darcy and have him hack out 2-3 hard fouls to start the game to let UK know we mean business.

Huh?
Did you not see the last game? He was a liability out there. Lazy passes, slow to get back on D in front of the fast break, covering the wrong defender then leaving him open when he realized his mistake. Turnovers. Laughing on the court when he made a mistake.
Laughing and joking on the bench (just watch the bench sometime at a game).
Not sure what happened, but he looked like a different player in practices early in the season, and I was excited for us.
Just one more perplexing aspect of this year's team.

He's a super nice kid. Has the right body type for today's guards and has skills, but he doesn't seem to take the game seriously at the moment. Loses focus, panics when he suddenly doesn't know what to do. Immaturity perhaps.

Having said all that, I hate that he's suffered this tragedy, awful for him, awful for his teammates too. The team will rally around Tim, and hopefully they'll come out fighting on his behalf.
I hope he can bounce back quickly. Sometimes having a sport to throw yourself into at a time like this can help.
I'll definitely be holding him in my thoughts.
